Scarlett Leithold vs Raven Lyn
(BBU Independent vs Garnet Gunners UK)
(3-4, 3 KO vs 2-1, 2 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago
BEFORE: Two Americans battle on expatriate duty in BBU tonight but it's not exactly a lightweight supremacy bout due to the fact Brooks Nader is widely considered as the better boxer than both Scarlett Leithold and Raven Lyn right now. Leithold enjoyed a busy fall scoring an upset win over Rochelle Humes before Una Healy & Nadia Forde brought her down to Earth while Lyn was sidelined since knocking out cougar Heidi Klum in Ryder Cup last season. It's anyone's guess how she performs after such a lenghty lay-off period but her manager Gina Garnet is convinced Nadia Forde passed all the important tips to her stablemate after all.
Scarlett Leithold wears a black tank top bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Raven Lyn wears a white lingerie set & red gloves. Long black hair in loose curls. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Rounds 1 & 2:
Scarlett looks more muscle ready for the quick action and she drops several punches into Raven's face to dominate the uptempo drill while the brunette looks rusty to say the very least and simply has to limit the damage in the early stages. She avoids all the big shots but cuts a dejected figure circling away from the action instead of maybe giving the blonde a proper response. Scarlett carries additional momentum with such minimal resistance and clobbers Raven onto the ropes to close out each of the first two rounds; she only has to fend off desperate clinching efforts and plugs the older model to the body to stay on top of her before a booming right hook folds Lyn into spasms right at the six minute mark. Ugh! That will leave a shiner in the morning!
Rounds 3 & 4:
Raven storms back into contention when she lands a vicious combo on the chin early in the third and then cuts Leithold below the left eye which opens the proverbial floodgates. She glues her mitts into the blonde's face and knocks her back to the post despite Scarlett's best efforts to maintain the early mojo. Both models dish out impressive punishment but Raven last the last laugh when she belts the younger foe across the chest and works on her midsection to close out the round. More of the same in the fourth when Raven sticks the supreme leather upstairs and leaves Scarlett throwing scattered response from the back foot instead. Meanwhile the Minnesota native keeps working through the middle and backs Leithold onto the ropes where she adds to the belting script in merciless fashion. Scarlett struggles to embrace and heat and caves behind a tight earmuff while Raven pummels her into a standstill come the bell.
Round 5:
Scarlett looks to break the fellow model's momentum but bounces off the top of Raven's forehead and wobbles forward to meet a crushing left hook on the jaw. Uh-oh! She goes all numb with a whimper upon impact so Lyn sets up a left/right combo that nails the ailing blonde on the mouth and PUTS HER DOWN FOR THE COUNT moments later. Ugh! Scarlett ends up on all fours half-way through the ordeal and falls flat on her face a split second later which means game over. KO5 Raven Lyn!!!
AFTER: Kate Abdo is with our winner few seconds after the official verdict is announced: "Look, I know Scarlett makes a lot of noise but I'm the better boxer. It's really that simple. She can go back to beach boxing or whatever but I'm ready for some big money fights. (...). Am I ready for Brooks Nader? Of course I am... but maybe not next month!" (winks).
Official Result: Raven Lyn def. Scarlett Leithold KO5.
