BEFORE: It's time for a rare all-rookie clash between the new TV showgirls (aka 'veline') of the Italian comedy show 'Striscia La Notizia' both whom joined the cast back in September. There is no shortage of BBU fighters who have starred as veline over the years including Elisabetta Canalis, Melissa Satta and Federica Nargi so one might argue the stage is truly set for the wave of new talent.

Coming from the red corner is dark-haired Cosmary Fasanelli, beauty pageant veteran and former Miss Cinema Italia. Coming from the blue corner is model Anastasia Ronca who dyed her hair blonde for the purpose of the show. Both girls are 22 years old and seem to enjoy a friendly relationship behind the scenes but Denise van Outen claims the real business only starts now and there will be no smiles in the ring once the first punches are thrown.

Cosmary Fasanelli wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Anastasia Ronca wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long dyed blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls try to sell out the early action and throw several punches up the middle but they fail to connect with a meaningful series before Anastasia cracks a left hook on the brunette's mouth and wobbles her to the side which triggers a hectic jabbing rally that ends in a clinch along the ropes. Cosmary shakes off the other girl and whacks a left hook on the jaw that freezes Anastasia on the spot and we go the other way with the brunette working the head-hunting pounce to move the action towards the center of the ring again. She blows up the blonde's high-guard and sticks more leather into her face; Anastasia spins away from more trouble thanks to some quick footwork and Fasanelli is kind enough not to chase her around in the closing seconds.

Round 2:
More jabbing action to start the round with both girls landing some crowd-pleasing hits but neither of them is able to gain a lasting advantage. Single-punch galore on display until Anastasia whacks the fellow veline on the ear and drives a rare uppercut into her chest. Woof. Cosmary cries out in pain but she'll have to learn to embrace those kind of hits if she plans to stay in the celebrity boxing universe for a while. Ronca snaps her head back with a sudden flurry of punches and backs her onto the ropes where she drops down to punish her midsection before another clinch stalls her progress. She still drills another one-two series on Fasanelli's guts and waves back to the crowd at the bell. This isn't foxy boxing stuff though so maybe it's time to show a mean edge too?

Round 3:
Cosmary comes back to stun the blonde with a left/right combo on the jaw and find success working the uppercut pounce while Anastasia shows flaws on defense as she leaks too many of these punches on target. She tries to work to the brunette's body again but gets caught from the inside and Fasanelli notices she can dominate in close range so she lets it rip to connect with the fellow model's chin in repeated fashion. Ugh! Anastasia slumps on her heels but she still tries to swing back from that stance only to slice thin air and eat more half-uppercuts instead. Cosmary drives her onto the turnbuckle come the final stretch but runs out of time to add to her advanatge and gets pulled away by the ref at the bell.

Round 4:
Anastasia lands a nasty hook on the eye to make Cosmary scowl in pain but the follow up bounces off the top of her forehead and she lines a right hook on the jaw that folds the blonde into spasms upon impact. Ugh! Ronca stumbles to the side with a whimper and fails to react when Fasanelli smacks her with a chaotic hooking effort that still finds the target thanks to the blonde's dismal defense. Both girls need some time to adjust their stance but when thet do it's Cosmary that lights up the stats by picking the blonde off from both flanks much to the crowd's delight. She slumps Anastasia behind a desperate earmuff and still tries to beat her up upstairs before driving a late harpoon on the exposed ribcage. Ronca folds into loud spasms but gets saved by the bell and Fasanelli barks in anger over the missed opportunity.

Round 5:
Cosmary realizes she should work on the blonde's midriff much sooner and she plusg her around the elbows before a jug-to-jug bump wobbles Ronca onto her heels and allows the brunette to flush her with a right hook on the jaw. Ugh! Anastasia takes another hit on the brow ridge moments later and tries to clinch her foe but Cosmary bumps her off and turns it from the hip to NAIL the subdued blonde on the left eye again. DOWN GOES RONCA!!! She crashes flat on her back amid a wild cheer from the audience and now it's Fasanelli who blows kisses to the camera as the other veline cuts a shaky figure and barely makes it back to her feet at eight. She looks totally vulnerable here but the fight is resumed anyway. Cosmary squares up to her and delivers more head shots with the blonde's high guard totally absent and one can see the writing is on the wall... a few hooks drop Anastasia into loud spasms before a booming left hook tags her on the jaw and SLIDES HER ONTO HER BACKSIDE in the corner. Referee pulls out the mercy card and waves the fight off! KO5 Cosmary Fasanelli!!!

AFTER: No hard feelings between these two so Cosmary helps Anastasia to get up and they do exchange a quick laugh over a nasty shiner that has developed under the blonde's left eye. They both parade around the ring for a while with Ronca holding the brunette's arm in the air. It's not impossible we see these two in the ring again and who knows, maybe ex-veline Elisabetta Canalis gives them some boxing lessons in her private gym before too long to improve the new Striscia's brigade stock?
