Part 1: Zara Holland Vs Mimi Perkins We saw the return of the former BBU flyweight champion Zara Holland. Since losing her title she hasn't really seemed motivated. Across the ring from Zara was Aussie stunner Mimi Perkins, who has kicked off this year in impressive fashion.
Both women looked in great shape as they stepped into the ring. Zara has been out the ring for eighteen months. So it was interesting to see what she could do. Mimi looked confident in her own corner as she stared over at Zara.
Then the bell rung. Mimi jogged out her corner to engage Zara, the former champion backed out but soon it became clear she was playing possum. Catching Mimi with a left hook that turned the younger woman's head. Soon putting down Perkins in the opening round for a count of seven.
The second round saw Zara take the fight straight to Mimi. Who looked shocked as she was being battered by the heavy handed glamour model. Soon Mimi was crumbling down to the canvas with her eyes shut as she was counted out to give Zara a massively impressive performance.
Zara called out the BBU flyweight champion Jorgie Porter. It would be interesting to see that fight but you do wonder if Zara needs rounds to be ready for that fight or not. She is young enough that she can certainly be back in fighting shape quickly, also she is most likely entering her prime now.

Part 2: Alesha Dixon Vs Ellie Bamber This was an interesting clash; Alesha Dixon has been having a tough time for the past few years. While the younger Ellie Bamber has struggled to really gotten used to boxing yet, only winning one fight in four bouts. So who came out on top of this?
The opening round started with Alesha stepped after Ellie. Landing crisp jabs into the face of the younger woman. Alesha showing flashes of her brilliance that makes her a hall of famer. Looking relaxed as she went and sat on her stool staring over at Ellie like a predator eyeing its prey.
Momentum changed over as Ellie found her mojo to work the body of the veteran. Alesha was pushed around the perimeter of the ring swinging off her back foot. With Ellie looking more relaxed after taking the lead after the third round. Nodding to her coach as maybe she was finding her feet.
The fourth round was chaotic as Ellie started like a house on fire, battering down her opponent till Alesha was down for the count of seven. Clearly not used to being in such a dominant position. Ellie stepping in but got caught flush as Alesha was like a cornered animal, they can be the most dangerous things to face.
Especially as it led to Ellie being hurt. Alesha beat her backwards, leading to Ellie being knocked down. Up at eight got Bamber to the delight of her fans. They were quickly upset as a right hook quickly sent Ellie back down for the count as Alesha proved on her day she still has it.
Alesha has a fight coming up against Aleksandra Ciupa. Alesha will hopefully have taken confidence from this win. See if she can keep turning the clock back or if she will be back to struggling against these younger girls coming through the BBU ranks.

Part 3: Nikki Sanderson Vs Havana Brown Another England versus Australia battle on the Kear's Kat's card. Both women the same age, both stunning and skillful fighters. Havana had decided to step back from the ring after being beaten by Diana Korkunova three years ago. She let it be known she saw Nikki as an easy test to get back into her rhythm.
She certainly started off the better fighter, taking the first two rounds with a mixture of aggression and power. Nikki looked annoyed as she tapped her gloves as she sat down on her stool. She certainly didn't want to be humiliated by the Aussie beauty.
While Nikki came back at Havana, she struggled to really make a dent. Havana was banging away at her body, pushing around the English fighter as round after round went by. Till by the seventh round Nikki looked dejected but wanted to keep trying. Problem was Havana wasn't letting her off the hook. A brutal right hook in the seventh round sent Sanderson down for the count.
This was a great performance from Havana, she was cool and collected as she battered Nikki. Of course Havana has struggled in the past to reach that top level, maybe time away has allowed her to reboot and find a way of improving herself for future big fights.

Part 4: Roxanne Pallett Vs Charlotte Jordan It's only around six months ago that Roxanne Pallett was in contention for a title shot. Now she was faced with a bout against someone on the opposite side of their career. Charlotte Jordan battered hall of famer Samia Ghadie a few weeks ago to start her career off. Was Charlotte biting off more then she could chew?
The thing to remember is that Roxanne was crushed by Chiara Nasti only a month ago in two rounds. Would that play on the veterans mind as she stepped into the ring with someone grinning at them like a Cheshire cat. Charlotte seemed keen to use the former title contender as a stepping stone.
There did look to be a little apprehensiveness to Roxanne as she started the bout, Charlotte pounced on her to start off strong before Pallett was able to turn things around as she used some of her veteran wits to pull Charlotte around to the ropes with her left. Pounding the Coronation Street star around her face.
Roxanne started the second more quickly as she clearly had some confidence behind her. Problem was that a left hook caught her flush on the chin. Charlotte begun to show the power that has some wondering if she can be a real spark in the division. Roxanne certainly wasn't pleased to be getting hit by those shots.
In the third Roxanne looked weary of that big left hook. Problem for Pallett was as she was taking out her game, an uppercut landed flush to rock her badly. More thudding punches came to send Roxanne to sleep on her back with a dominant finish from the young woman.
Charlotte looks the real deal so far. Arguably she caught Roxanne at the perfect time with Pallett's lack of success lately. Still to beat someone who may well be a hall of famer someday says something. Roxanne can beat anyone on her best day but Charlotte rattled her right away. Keep an eye out for Charlotte as she is an early contender for rookie of the year.
That's all we have time for folks. Thank you much to everyone who took the time to read these posts. Also a big thank you to Knowlesley for writing the fights that I reviewed, as always they were all wonderful. We hope you will come back next Sunday for the Real View.
