Part 1: BBU welterweight title bout preview The coming pay per view is going to be a lot of fun. Case in point the BBU welterweight champion Josephine Skriver has her toughest test of her career as she has got to defend the title against the current BBU JMDD champion Hailey Clauson in the main event on Wednesday night.
Hailey right now is on a roll; while yes she lost her FCBA JMDD title two months ago. She has just won the Diamond Boxing Tournament in the FCBA. She has been the BBU JMDD champion over a year and has been around the top pound for pound rankings in the BBU over the last year and a bit.
Josephine meanwhile has really come into her own over the past year. Finally achieving her dream of a world title when she dethroned Karen Gillan. She has defeated a fellow champion during this reign as she defeated the ACB champion Jestina Campbell early on. Hailey though is arguably a level above Jesinta.
So what should you expect between these two? Well Hailey is going to come out swinging hard. She can box pretty well but Hailey's main strength is to be on the front foot. Both her fists contain real power. She will look to overpower Josephine before knocking her out.
Josephine meanwhile has a solid right fist that has knocked out plenty of tough contenders herself. She will most likely look to keep it at range long enough to wear down Hailey to give her a taste of her own medicine. Josephine seems to have found another gear but of course Hailey is at the top of her game right now.
It's not often a champion goes into a fight as an underdog but you have to say looking at their résumés, Hailey has the longer list of achievements. Josephine though has shown she can compete with anyone around the world. It feels like a fight where one big shot could end it early as with any welterweight bout.

Part 2: BBU JMD title bout preview Catalina Otalvaro will look to defend her JMD title successfully when she takes on BBU newcomer Vivian Hsieh. Who is far from a rookie. The "Taiwanese tornado" will look to rip the diamond encrusted bra from the chest of Catalina and become the new champion.
Vivian has had an interesting career so far. She has a record of nine wins from seventeen fights. She started brilliantly with six wins to start her career before this run of more loses then victories. She does hold a solid JMD victory over Harumi Nemoto. So JMD is certainly in her wheelhouse. Vivian was the one who made the challenge to the champion, she doesn't lack any confidence clearly.
The champion holds a record of eleven wins and only one defeat. That loss was to the then BBU bantamweight champion Alice Eve. Since then she won the JMD title from Charlotte Church and hasn't look back. Defending the title against Michelle Keegan and Lucy Pinder.
Style wise Vivian will need to look to stick and move. Catalina will move after her and look to simply batter her out the way. It could become a cat and mouse type of affair with Vivian looking to take the fight into the long grass to wear down Catalina. The longer the fight goes it might favour the challenger.
The money though will firmly be on Catalina. It took an amazing performance from Alice Eve to stop her still being undefeated. If Catalina fought more she could be right in the mix to be the best pound for pound around. Though that helps Vivian out as she has fought more of the pair. Ring rust might give Vivian the chance of the upset so do not write off the challenger.

Part 3: BBU lightweight title bout preview Holly Peers has accepted a challenge from Nicola Cavanis to fight for Holly's BBU lightweight title. This could be a true hard hitting war as neither fighter exactly likes to take a step backwards. Nicola hoping to show the world she belongs in the elite conversation.
The challenger comes into this contest with ten wins in eleven bouts. Not an impressive record by any stretch but considering she has fought the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kate Upton, Sophie Turner and a host of other top names, it's not like she is being beaten by jamborni's.
Holly though has been proving herself over the past eighteen months. Defeating Miranda Kerr for the belt in what at the time was dubbed an upset. That bit can be taken off that win as Holly has more then proven she deserves to be recognised as a top fighter. She has defeated the BBU Italian lightweight champion Valentina Fradegrada twice, Alice Goodwin, Yasmin Verheijen and Brooks Nader on this amazing run of results.
The odds are Holly should retain when they clash but Nicola is certainly a live dog in this fight. Nicola will need to smother the work of her smaller foe early to wear her down before seeking the knockout when the opportunity presents itself.
Holly on the other hand will look to make this a street fight. Expect punches across the jugs of Nicola. Overhand shots and nudges to keep the taller fighter off balance. Holly has shown that height doesn't scare her one bit we against bigger opponents she has gotten right into their faces.
As I said at the start this could be a rock em sock em robots type affair early on. Both like to land big shots. Who will learn to respect the other by the end of the fight? Well you'll have to check out the fight when it happens as you might miss a classic.

Part 4: BBU flyweight title bout preview Finally on today's show we are discussing the upcoming BBU flyweight title clash between Ili Cheng and the champion Jorgie Porter. Both these petite titans clash for the first time with a point to prove. Ili wanting to become a world champion. Jorgie wanting to expand her name beyond just Europe by taking down world competition.
Ili comes into the fight with five wins in eight contests. She is a little pocket dynamo at 5'1. She has beaten the likes of Samia Ghadie, Katya Jones and Sara Jean Underwood.
Jorgie meanwhile is on a big roll. Winning a shot at the title last year which she cashed in by defeated Holly Hagan. Since then Jorgie has defeated the likes of Cheryl Cole, Bianca Atzei and Marnie Simpson. We have said it before but Jorgie just looks to have an aura around her of supreme confidence you'd struggle to say she had even a year ago.
It should be said Jorgie is only 5'2. So this will be a hotly contested affair with plenty of heated exchanges since physically they are very similar. Neither on paper should bully the other on raw strength or speed. This could come down to technical skills, boxing IQ and simply toughness. Jorgie has the experience factor but Ili is the younger woman.
This could be a classic if both bring their A game to the table. They are arguably similar event in styles so we could get a little mirror match up. Don't expect a one punch knockout here. Jorgie is the favourite but Ili could spring the surprise if she can clock Jorgie and take that impressive confidence of Porter away from her.
That's all we have time for folks! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. We are blessed to have amazing fans like you. We want to thank the amazing BBU writers too. We will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
