Part 4: an interview with Michelle KeeganTom: so this week we are honoured to have Michelle Keegan spend a little time with us, telling us what her plans for the future are. Thank you for joining us Michelle.
(Michelle is doing her video call from her private gym. Sitting on a bench with a bottle of water to her right and a towel around her shoulders, she is wearing a black sports bra and shorts)Michelle: hey Tom! It's great as always to be on the show. Getting to chat with you and to the wonderful BBU fans.
Tom: well first as usual I have to discuss photos or videos of our wonderful celebrity fighters in boxing training or action. Now this is one of your most famous photo sets. I assume you are still in as wonderful shape?
(Michelle stands to tap her abs with her right hand as she grins, before sitting back down)Michelle: does it look like I have put on much weight, I am still in my prime fighting weight. You know I am one of the most dedicated trainers in all of celebrity female boxing. When I retire I will be in better shape then some of the young stars coming through.
Tom: you certainly sold me. Talking of your boxing career, you have had a phenomenal career. You are after all a former BBU flyweight champion and a former FCBA JMD champion. Is there anything you really want to add to your career?
Michelle: a second title of course is my number one goal. I have seen the pictures of me and Jorgie have been posted from our lingerie boxing battle before she won the title. She can claim it was an exhibition or whatever crap she is saying. I beat her and if she has the guts to give me a rematch for the title, I will beat her down.
Tom: of course right now you are booked solid from what we hear. How are you feeling right now going into some real big fights?
Michelle: so maybe I should keep it a surprise who I am facing on the BBU PPV. It will be announced soon but it is someone I have wanted to fight for years. Someone who people have put against me in those fantasy battles for years. All I'll say on that is I am going to knock them out and prove I am the supreme flyweight in the world.
One bout I am comfortable talking about is I have Sophia Bush to look forwards to on Copacabana Beach in several weeks time in the FCBA. No titles on the line but she isn't someone I care for, she is as two faced as they come.
Tom: well that's some bumper news. Some people, not naming names of course, they will say that you're out of your prime and now getting into gatekeeper territory, what do you say to those people?
Michelle: I say wait till you see what I do to my next two opponents, what I did to Jorgie Porter. I am far from done as an elite fighter, in fact I feel ready to put gold around this tight, toned waist.
Tom: I bet your fans are celebrating hearing that from you. That's all we have time for sadly. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak to us. I hope that you enjoyed talking to us.
Michelle: no worries, every chance I get to speak to my fans is wonderful. I hope that the fans will keep tuning in to my fights.
Tom: that's all for this week folks, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. To the wonderful BBU writers and to the wonderful BBU fans. We will be back next Sunday for the next edition of the Real View.
