Real View Intro: Hello ladies and gentleman; this was an interesting week of action, several fighters debuted in the BBU. We had two veteran fighters looking for a big win over each other to move back up the rankings and plenty of drama.
As always we recommend that if you haven't read the bouts from this past week that you go look them up. We will of course be spoiling them in our reviews. While also you will be robbing yourself the enjoyment of wonderfully written fights.

Part 1: Lucia Liu vs. Jamie Pang The Sirens boxing stable was looking to scout some talent on Saturday night, what better way then to have those fighters come to you and fight in your home gym. The main event of the card saw two women who have had several tough fights get a chance to prove themselves to each other.
The build up saw both women have some verbal jousting. Some of it was good natured, other parts it came close to both losing their cools. All the way through a steely determination was clear on both beautiful womens faces.
At the bell it was Lucia who flew off the mark with quick fotr combos. Jaime looked a little worried as she found herself pressed tightly to the ropes at times. Needing to use her jab to try to hold off her opponent from charging right through her.
The third round saw the beginning of a change. Jaime saw some weakness in her opponent as Lucia had thrown a lot of punches in the first two rounds. Jaime started to catch Lucia flush through her guard to her face, snapping the Chinese fighters head back to the delight of her coach.
Jaime then would put down Lucia in the fifth round. There was a clear look of worry on the face of Lucia, still she got to her feet to show her toughness. By the sixth round she was a sitting duck when Jaime came in with several hard shots. Ending with Liu on her back looking up at the lights for the count.
Afterwards Jaime made sure to challenge anyone who wanted to try her in the ring. It will be interesting to see who picks up the challenge as Jaime has shown she has the physical ability to be a top fighter. It's learning the ropes inside the ring of what makes someone elite that she still is learning.

Part 2: Lily-Rose Depp Vs Maisie Williams We had an interesting contest on Friday night. Lily-Rose with just one win to her name after nine fights was hoping to add another before she was totally written off as a threat. Maisie Williams at one point was seen as a possible contender for titles, her career faulted and her stable cut her. It was all about which of these two young women could prove they deserve more eyes on them.
Lily-Rose for all her failures in the ring wasn't holding back her opinion on Maisie. Calling her a bridesmaid in the boxing world. While Maisie saved her fury by the look of it to stepping in the ring on fight night. There was clear tension on both fighters parts as they knew the importance of a victory for their careers.
We got a heated opening round between them. Both showed a hint of fear to go all in but did have moments where they let their fists go to whack each other around. Maisie maybe would score the point on the scorecards for being a little more aggressive, it was such a close round that a draw was probably the best call.
Maisie tried to get on the front foot but arguably wasn't aggressive enough to get at her foe, allowing Lily-Rose to bloody her nose. That is what led to the downfall of the Game of Thrones alumni as she was sent down in the fourth round by a nasty right hook. Maisie got to her feet but the referee judged her nose to be leaking too much blood, along with a glassy look to her eyes, she was saved from further punishment.
This was a minor upset; it also shows how far Maisie has dropped as Lily-Rose has and probably never will be a top fighter. Maisie understandably looked broken when she left the ring. Lily-Rose on the other hand has a date in the ring with Mimi Keene. That will be a test for Lily-Rose to overcome as unlike Maisie, Mimi is full of confidence.

Part 3: Nadine Coyle Vs Havana Brown A battle of two veterans in the flyweight division took place. Nadine Coyle and Havana Brown both have been trying to get their careers back on track. They both have had some highs and some bitter lows. Arguably a loss to the other could really damage their careers going forwards, while the winner keeps the wheels going under them.
It was clear once the bell rung that Nadine was in trouble. Havana was quicker to the punch and landing with some venom. Nadine was trying to throw back but was getting hit with the cleaner shots. At the end of the first round Nadine looked a little shell shocked.
Back at it they went with Coyle trying to match her opponents intensity. Problem for her was that Havana was smacking her back. By the third round Nadine's face was red and she was blowing hard from body shots. A hard hitting combo pur her down and that was all she wrote for this bout.
You have to be frank that Nadine simply didn't have any spark. Did she train for this bout as hard as she used to or is she simply that shop worn? You hate to use the word retirement but the way she is going, she might have to think about it.
Havana meanwhile clearly still has fire in her soul. She has been called out by Ola Jordan for a dust up in the ring. That would be a good marker for Havana as Ola of course has impressive footwork, has a strong dig to her punches and is tough. If Havana beats her then the comeback trail is certainly on the right path.

Part 4: Won-young Jang vs. Suzy Bae We head back to the Sirens card for the final part of this week's Real View with an intriguing bout. Eighteen year old Won-young Jang took on the twenty eight year old Suzy Bae, who is no rookie to the ring compared to Yang. Would we see the first steps of a young prospect or was Suzy teaching the young fighters coming through not to test her?
Both were certainly keen to fight judging by their comments pre-fight to each other. Suzy making it clear that she thinks the next generation needs to learn respect. Of course Won-young wanted to prove she belongs in the ring, simply to do that was to bash aside Suzy.
It was the veteran head of Suzy winning the early battles, using her jab to control the distance, protecting herself the better and whacking in hard shots when openings presented themselves. Won-young was too busy trying to swing for the fences at times.
Things changed in the third when the youngster dipped under a hook after baiting Suzy in. An uppercut pushes Bae backwards as Won-young looked to bully her backwards under quick fire punches. Suzy looked annoyed when the bell rung, knowing she had given hope to her foe.
While Suzy had a great fourth round, it didn't dissuade Won-young at all. Won-young slammed in more flurries that started to get through the guard of Suzy. Finally two uppercuts put Bae down in the sixth, she pushed up to her feet but soon enough was sent down again for the count. Won-young Jang got an important first win in a BBU ring.
This was a fun fight between two contrasting styles and philosophy's in the ring. Suzy wanted to keep the pace at a more slower tempo then what her opponent wanted. Won-young was quick firing and once she realised she needed to create angles to land them then just coming forwards all the time, she quickened the tempo to what suited her.
Won-young looks to have some tools to be a future star. As long as she doesn't let success go to her head, which admittedly her celebrations at winning do worry me on that front. She has the speed and adapted well to the problems she faced to win the fight, so keep an eye out for this new star.
That's all we have time for folks! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts. Thank you also you Caspian, Knowlesley and Vassago for their bouts. You are all amazing writers! We'll be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
