BBU Hall of Fame announcement!
While the Hall of fame announcements are normally going to be made every New Years Day, we felt this fighter deserved to be inducted now her career has sadly ended.
So it is my honour to announce the second BBU Hall of Fame entry is Sabrina Washington!
This tough singer lit up the BBU in the early days of the league for the Beever's Babe's, in her first year in the BBU winning 13 out of 14 fights and winning the BBU lightweight title (which she'd vacate) and the BBU welterweight title in the same year!
She would run into the Juggernaut Erika Haynatz to lose the welterweight belt, but that wouldn't stop her coming back for more.
Over the course of her career, she was deemed the alpha female of the welterweights, the girl you had to beat if you were to prove that you belonged in the top echelon of the division.
While she lost 10 fights, she won 17 hard fought wars that include a win over Taylor Swift, Lisa Maffia, Estella Warren to name a few.
Her greatest rivalry would also be the one that finished her career, Catherine Tyldesley was one of the girls Sabrina marched over in the early part of both girls careers, something the blonde never fought and something that fuelled her to want revenge.
Sadly for Sabrina and her fans, two losses in the past year to Catherine, saw Sabrina have to retire as she stated she would if she lost the third fight.
Many fight fans should remember the work though that got her to the top, her wars with stablemate Lisa Maffia over the lightweight title are a must.
The famous fight between her and Taylor Swift is a must see also if you want a full gasp of what made Sabrina special.
Hopefully we can hear from the lady in question, but we will send her award to her.
A truly dominant fighter and now Hall of Famer
