Part 1: BBU welterweight title bout review In the first title bout we will discuss from the pay per view; Romee Strijd looked to become a world champion after a career of being around the elite ranks for the past couple of years. Across the ring from her stood the champion Josephine Skriver, who has been one of the pound for pound contenders over the year.
They were both respectful in the build up, along with a hint of "you won't stand in my way" attitude to them. This was arguably Romee's biggest fight of her career and she looked fired up for it when she stepped into the ring. For Josephine, she looked focused as she climbed through the ropes into the ring.
Once the bell rung you got an evenly fought start from both gorgeous models. Romee threw some crisp body shots but got caught in return with several cross punches back into her face. Physically it was pretty even looking at them and it showed when they tried to jab each other around the ring.
The first piece of drama in the contest came in the fifth round. An uppercut caught out Romee to unbalance her. That was followed by a two hook combo that sent the challenger down onto her back. Romee got up at eight with Josephine not able to finish the bout there and then.
Instead in the eighth round of the hard fought contest, it was ironically an uppercut that would lead to the downfall of Josephine. She had taken some big shots in the previous round. The uppercut left her open to a nasty right hook onto her chin to send her down onto her back to the delight of her corner. Especially when Josephine couldn't beat the count, meaning we have a new queen of the welterweight division.
Romee finally shut any doubters up that she can be the top fighter in the world. She had always been a bit of a bridesmaid story, now she can proudly stare at the BBU welterweight title and tell the crowd that she is the best.

Part 2: BBU lightweight title bout review In the other BBU title fight on the PPV. Robin Holzken had earned her way to the title bout by defeating Alessia Uva. The champion Holly Peers awaited, looking in the mood to add another name to her impressive CV. Holly of course being one of the best fighters of the past two years in the BBU.
Both women looked in phenomenal shape when they stepped through the ropes on the beach to fight it out. Each had a point to prove beyond just taking the title home, for Robin it was proving she is the new face of Dutch Boxing (more on that later), while Holly wanted to prove she is the undisputed great in the division as continues making successful defences.
The bell rung and while Robin certainly showed she was keen for the fight, it was Holly who took early control of it. Drilling back the challenger on the inside as she showed a portion of why she has been so dangerous in the past two years, slugging Robin across her jaw in close to back her off.
Robin didn't let the slow start get to her. She instead let her hands go more to outwork Holly, forcing the exchanges as both wanted to hurt each other badly. A low blow by Holly was punished later on by some nasty punches right across her beautiful face.
Round five was where the shocking conclusion to the contest came. Holly missed with a few shots and paid for it with a nasty right on her nose. Blood started to run from it and Robin punished her with more hard hitting shots, that's till Peers went down to all fours with blood dripping onto the sand, that's all she wrote on the title reign of Holly Peers.
First we should say how impressive Holly has been as a champion. There was a time where we called it a major upset that she defeated Miranda Kerr to win the title. Fast forwards to the present day and she proved she was the best in the division.
That was of course till Robin Holzken came along. Now we have two Dutch fighters holding BBU titles. It will be interesting to see what this era produces as the last Dutch era of the BBU saw the rise of Sylvie Meis and Doutzen Kroes. Can these new heroes prove to be as amazing as they were?

Part 3: Michelle Keegan Vs Samaria Relagado This was a fight that came around after Michelle Keegan fought Jessica Alba in a boxing bout that has some calling it the fight of the year. Michelle beat Jessica and promptly was called out by Jessica's friend Samaria Relagado, who had been sparring and training with the Hollywood starlet these past few years.
It seemed like Samaria had learnt from the mistakes of her friend in this pre-fight action as she ignored the taunts from Michelle. That seemed to unnerve Keegan as she didn't know what to make of Regalado, especially when you consider the bout was over how she humiliated Jessica after that contest.
But when the bout kicked off it was Michelle firmly on top. Starting off showing her footwork along with combination punching. Samaria would be put down in the second round for a count of eight to the displeasure of her corner and friends.
Michelle looked confident of course till she got caught out with a thudding harpoon like body shot that drove the air out of her lungs. Samaria used the opening to pound back the former champion. Michelle's legs lost some of their spring as she was forced to try to match power with Regalado.
Things ended in the fifth when Michelle was being beaten by Samaria. Valiantly Michelle tried to fight but it was in vein as Samaria slammed a picture perfect right into her face to send Keegan down into her back. The English fighter was out cold before she hit the deck.
While after the contest Samaria didn't gloat about her victory. Two things are clear, Samaria wants to be holding gold around her waist soon, also that her and Michelle are far from done with each other. Michelle made it known that the result didn't matter to her as she feels deep down she is the better fighter. It'll be interesting to see where both fighters go after this brutal contest and where Jessica Alba's future lays as she made it known after her stables doors shut that she'd tell all where she is going next.

Part 4: Ela Kawalec Vs Natalia Vodianova This was an interesting international clash. Ela Kawalec has been trying to get the spotlight on herself, while Natalia Vodianova believes she would get her first victory over the younger woman. They stepped into the ring together on the PPV card to show they are the future star of the lightweight division.
Neither exactly was too rude about the other. Still it was clear there was tension between them as the media spoke to each fighter. Natalia assuring them that she had no pressure on her shoulders, Ela meanwhile kept it known her goals were more then just beating Natalia.
Ela came out the blocks like a Polish lioness as she roared forwards with her fists. Natalia was a little too defensive for her own good as she allowed the younger woman to fight with a freedom. Ela especially seemed to enjoy slicing through the guard of the Russian to her face.
While Natalia did show fight in the second round as she came out looking to take the fight to her foe. Ela was caught out by that as she took some big hits around her cheeks. Ela even had a moment where she nearly toppled over by several clean hooks, making her tightly clinch up.
But that's where Natalia's success lasted too as Ela looked pissed off by that punishment she took. Pounding Natalia back with some menacing hooks. Natalia simply didn't have the quickness to hold off her opponent, leading to her going down once in the fourth round for a count of eight. She'd be down for the count thirty seconds later as Ela landed a brutal right hook to end the night the victor.
While the third round was one Ela will want us all to forget quickly. This was mostly a dominant performance. She keeps showing promise but she needs to keep building on these wins and not lose momentum. We still see her as a champion at some point as the twenty four year old keeps evolving as a fighter.
That's all we have time for folks! Thank you to everyone who wrote bouts this week, while also a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. We will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
