Real View Intro: Hello ladies and gentleman; on Wednesday the latest BBU pay per view took place. It had three big fights in the main event slots and a great undercard. We will be talking about four of the fights on the card. We do recommend if you haven't already checking out all of the event when you have time.
As always we recommend that if you haven't read the bouts from this past week that you go look them up. We will of course be spoiling them in our reviews. While also you will be robbing yourself the enjoyment of wonderfully written fights.

Part 1: BBU bantamweight title bout The main event of what is now last month's PPV (how time flies!) Saw Sophia Thomalla look to extend her undefeated career run and to keep a tight grip on the BBU bantamweight title. Across the ring from her stood Irish fight Nadia Forde, who looked to bring home gold for the first time in her career. She has been so close to holding a title but as they say, she has basically become the bridesmaid, could she change that fact?
It should be said that Sophia had her eyes on another prize, though one for the future and not just for this bout. The BBU record wins in a row stands at 20, held by Jenna Louise Coleman. Sophia went into this contest with 16 victories, which adds a hell of a résumé bounty for anyone who can beat her before she reaches that goal.
The fight itself started with a very motivated Nadia coming out the gates quickly to try to unsettle the champion. Sophia looked happy enough to counter punch in the early going, either showing the challenge too much respect or maybe not respecting her by not matching her early intensity. Whatever it was Nadia looked relaxed by the end of the round.
We got a flash of the champions brilliance in the third round with sons precision punches raining through the guard of Nadia. Still Nadia dug in and Sophia was certainly not finding things her own way, in fact you could argue that Forde was slightly ahead on the scorecards going into the sixth round.
That is when Sophia seemed to find that extra level. That's not to say Nadia didn't have any success after that point, even bloodying the nose of the German singer. Sophia paid her back for that and slammed in a nasty hook in the eighth round that put the Irish lasses lights out and kept the title around Thomalla's waist.
This was the fight of the night in what was a great night of action. Nadia really gave her all and Sophia was forced to find that champions level again to retain her title. It has to be said that the Lookout crew are definitely keeping an eye on Sophia and that winning record. Could we see Jenna Louise Coleman try to step up in weight to stop the charge of the German? Well Sophia is three wins away from tying the record and four from becoming the record holder.

Part 2: BBU JMDD title bout The BBU JMDD title contest certainly had spark to it thanks to the history of the two combatants. Kara Del Toro looked to dethrone the champion Hailey Clauson. The history these two share is that Kara earlier this year defended her FCBA JMDD title she held at the time by knocking out Hailey in five rounds. Hailey seeing Kara is now a free agent decided to give her the chance to test herself on Hailey's home patch of the BBU.
It was clear the tension between them in the build up. Hailey was after blood or at least to humiliate Kara to even that score up. Kara meanwhile was up for doing the double over the Champion. She'd also become a rare fighter to have an BBU and FCBA title reign on her CV. If she had managed to keep hold of the FCBA title, she'd have had a chance to become a dual champion (the third in history after Alessandra Ambrosio and Kate Upton.)
Kara took the lead in the fight as she showed her confidence from their previous encounter. Plastering the body and jugs of Hailey from the outside. Hailey fought to try to hold off Kara, it was a hard task clearly for all to see. At the bell to end the second round, Kara was taunting Hailey as the champion looked downright furious.
Back came Hailey in the third round with punches square into the chest of Kara to match her. Problem was a round later Del Toro caught Clauson on her chin after beating the blondes tits to send her down. Hailey was up at eight with some redness to her cheeks as she looked embarrassed to have been caught like that.
But before Kara could get too comfortable; Hailey changed the style of their battle, it became more of a slugfest in tight. Hailey hold and hit tactics seemed to even the playing field. That cockiness of Kara was being wiped away as she was forced to fight on Hailey's terms. Which led to the eighth round and a vicious uppercut caught Del Toro flush, that was it for the fight as the challenger was counted out.
Again you could argue this was fight of the night. These two seem perfectly matched in a way, even though physically they are not the same, the intensity they carry and frankly the level they are at makes them perfect sworn foes. It was clear this isn't over between them as both will someday seek to break the deadlock they are in.

Part 3: Aussie Twins Tournament final Well it was delayed and that seems to have gotten the bad blood growing between the two finalists of the first ever Aussie Twins Tournament. ACB bantamweight champion Elisha Herbert and undefeated fighter Ashley Mescia got into the ring to prove who was the better woman after all the trash talk shared online between them and their fans.
Once the bell rung the nerves were evident on the less experienced Ashley, she had fought opponents around her ranking during the tournament, so to face the reigning champion of their division was certainly a step up. Elisha made her pay with precision punches smacking her in her beautiful face.
Ashley came roaring back in the next two rounds with her raw power. Elisha seemed knocked out her stride. With the more experienced fighters having to duck to dodge some big swings. Elisha wasn't totally worried it seemed, still Ashley was breaking her down in the moments where she could pin the ACB champion down.
Problem for Ashley was trying to pin down Elisha. It led to several moments where Ashley was getting caught flush after a miss. Which led to the fifth round where a brutal hook to the temple forced Mescia down for a count of eight. While Ashley beat the count, several more clean punches landed and we saw Ashley go down for the count.
Another impressive victory for Elisha as she now adds twin tournament winner to her growing résumé. You have to wonder what other goals she has in mind, maybe the BBU and FCBA bantamweight title of course. She has other possible threats to her home grown reign in Tahan Lew-Fatt, who is on a hell of a run over this year.
We should also talk about Ashley, while she will of course be bitterly disappointed, she should be proud she gave the champion moments to worry about. This tournament showed she has a hell of a lot of potential. We could be seeing the first chapter in a long and bitter feud as I see Ashley if she keeps training hard being at a similar level to Elisha in the long run.

Part 4: Mimi Keene Vs Maisie Williams Mimi Keene is looking to make a real push forwards in her career towards title aspirations. She also seems to have a few scores to settle as she went back to facing someone she called out a few short months ago.
Maisie Williams hasn't been the fighter she promised to be early in her career. Still Maisie clearly wants to prove her doubters wrong, so took this fight after losing to Lily-Rose Depp, the loss that caused the delay to this potential showdown as Mimi blasted out Lily-Rose before moving back to this fight.
It was Maisie who decided to take the fight to Mimi. That seemed to rattle Mimi somewhat as clearly she expected the "Game of Thrones" star to dance her way around the ring with her jab being the key weapon, not be right in the face of Mimi and actually score some nasty looking punches to her face and body.
The third round saw the changing of momentum beginning as Mimi took the fight to Maisie. Both slugged it out on the inside to the delight of the crowd. A few words were exchanged at the bell and you could feel the tension between these two young women.
After that though it was Mimi coming at full strength. Battering down Maisie for the count of eight in the fourth round. Maisie made it to the fifth round, she didn't see out the round as she was knocked to the canvas with more brutal punches and that was all she wrote!
Maisie seems to be sorely lacking in confidence. If she is to become the fighter a lot of pundits envision then she needs to get back to the drawing board and rediscover herself. If she doesn't then she might go down as one of the most disappointing fighters in celebrity female boxing history.
Mimi on the other hands showed a few moments of weakness during the fight. Still she was able to survive the early onslaught and batter Maisie down. It will be interesting to see where she does next, I see some are calling for a showdown with the BBU Flyweight champion Jorgie Porter in what could be a heated clash with their rival soap opera histories. It might be too early for that as Jorgie is operating at such a high level and Mimi hasn't tested herself against someone close to that yet.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you to all the writers who wrote bouts for the BBU PPV. Also a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. Hopefully you enjoyed them and we will be back Sunday morning with the next edition of the Real View.
