Real View Intro: Hello ladies and gentleman; over the past week the BBU has been to Germany. While over in the FCBA a current BBU fighter went there to try out "mud boxing", which is certainly new to me. We will review those two bouts, look at a challenger to one of the major titles here in the BBU and we look for possible challengers to the BBU's newest title.
As always we recommend that if you haven't read the bouts from this past week that you go look them up. We will of course be spoiling them in our reviews. While also you will be robbing yourself the enjoyment of wonderfully written fights.

Part 1: Alina Vacariu vs Sarah Brandner We had a battle of gorgeous models in Germany on Thursday night. Alina Vacariu headed into hostile territory to fight Sarah Brandner in Sarah's home country. Alina on paper was the slight favourite with her seven wins in ten fights compared to Sarah's fifty percent win rate in her own ten fights. Could the crowd be the big factor?
Both women looked keen when they stepped into the ring. When you have two women who are confident they can be a future title challenger, well you are not particularly afraid of many people, especially when the people who tend to beat you are in that elite bracket.
Once things kicked off the crowd erupted. Sarah started strong in the fight but was pegged back by her foe. The first round came to an end with both women looking happy enough in themselves how it went, though Sarah's coach Gina Wild did not look one bit pleased at all by her fighter taking her foot off the gas pedal.
While Sarah was up for a scrap; it was Alina who was winning the exchanges with superior accuracy and what looked to be a slight power advantage. Sarah ended up spilling blood from her nose in the third round before a booming right in the fourth sent Sarah to the canvas, while she got back up to cheers, the crowd would be stunned silent when moments later Sarah was blasted out cold by the victorious Romanian boxer.
This was a great victory for Alina; who while she was pushed, didn't really look in danger at any point. It was a good tester for her as she evolves her fighting style. Could she become a champion? Well she needs to be more serious about making fights, if she can build momentum then the talent is there to win a world title.
For Sarah, well it wasn't a brilliant fight for her. I will probably get stick off Gina Wild but she didn't help Sarah much. Who could have been more useful sticking behind a jab and not being stuck in the firing line of Alina's punches. Sarah still is a very solid fighter, the money fights are still there for her but if she isn't careful, she will become a gatekeeper for future fighters and have no chance at her own aspirations.

Part 2: who is Nicola Cavanis? Through the week we got our first officially announced BBU pay per view bout of the month. Nicola Cavanis took the bold step of challenging the BBU JMDD champion Hailey Clauson to a fight for the diamond encrusted title bra. We will discuss that fight in more detail but with Nicola being a new face to the BBU, we thought it would be great to explain what Nicola has been doing in the ring.
For starters Nicola is a German model, who posts pictures of herself on her Instagram, has done photoshoots for lots of big magazines and joined the FCBA under the Revolution Boxing stable banner in February of 2021.
Boxing wise she has kept to the FCBA throughout her career so far. She certainly has proven not to be afraid of anyone. Fighting the likes of Kendall Jenner, Tahnee Atkinson (on her debut!) And Kate Upton. She has caused ripples in celebrity female boxing as she tries to grab the spotlight.
It should be said that this will be her first JMDD fight. Which sums up her not afraid of anyone reputation to a tee. While she has never fought Hailey before, she has fought a stablemate of Clauson's. Beating Petra Nemcova in a blistering bout that took her six rounds to win with a brutal knockout.
So keep your eyes firmly on Nicola and certainly the JMDD title fight. While Hailey will be the early favourite going into that contest. Nicola has gotten the attention of the media in the BBU and I am sure you fans with her blunt call out of the champion. Either she is going to shock the world to win a JMDD title in her first JMDD rules sanctioned bout or she will learn that pride cometh before the fall.

Part 3: Ariana Grande Vs Roxanne Pallett (mud boxing) So I'll admit "mud boxing" is something I never thought I'd have to ever say. Here I am saying it about two stunning women who last Sunday morning stepped into a muddy field to box. This was an FCBA fight but Roxanne of course calls the BBU her home organisation and has a fight coming up with Samia Ghadie under bare knuckle rules. Was this a big mistake for Roxanne or an interesting way to prepare for that clash?
Both women haven't exactly had much success and this fight was classed as an exhibition. Though it should be said that Roxanne has had something close to this style with barn boxing bouts with the likes of Sammy Winward several years ago. Though even that was still in a traditional ring.
The rules were a little loose it seemed as Ariana would go down twice over the opening two rounds, yet there wasn't a count that I noticed on the footage. Roxanne didn't exactly seem in the mood to play around. Ariana meanwhile just looked miffed to even have to sign up for a scrap like that.
While Roxanne started off quickly, Ariana showed her stamina in the mud as she still has some spring to her steps and Roxanne was getting stuck in the gloop. Leading to Roxanne ending mud in the fourth, before finally in the fifth round the body shots taking there toll as Pallett was counted out.
It was certainly an interesting idea, not really my cup of tea per say but still we can't say much when we have had a boxing match in a farmer's field before. Even if it was when it was boiling hot with no mud. This will certainly have its fan base, so I expect to see more fights under these rules.
The big question though is how much did it take out of Roxanne as she prepares for a showdown with Samia Ghadie? Bare knuckle rules ain't a joke either. You need to be one hundred percent to risk your looks and most like cut your career length down due to the beating that you will take just to win. Samia has to be laughing her head off watching the bout while preparing for her shot at Roxanne.

Part 4: The BBU English welterweight title, possible challengers? Cast your mind back all the way to April (boy how time flies!) We crown the first ever BBU English welterweight champion. With the success of the Italian lightweight title in the BBU, clearly management saw fit that the great English boxers in the Welterweights get a showcase title for themselves. The first champion would be stunning page three model Leah Francis after she defeated former FCBA welterweight champion Gemma Atkinson.
Since winning the belt the only fight she has had was a loss to Joan Smalls, which was non-title to be clear. So we look over who could be a possible challenger for the champion in her first defence. Before we do that we'd love to see the belt be treated like the world Famous Lonsdale British title belt, three successful defences and the champion gets to keep a copy of the belt for their mantle. That would make it something unique in Celebrity female boxing and would hopefully add more prestige and hunger for champions to retain the belt.
Anyway onto the potential challengers:
Alexina Graham: Alexina has had an interesting career in the BBU since her debut back in 2019, she holds a record of seven wins in twelve fights. She has come close to being a world title contender, she just can't find the big win to push herself firmly into that conversation. A fight and a possible win for the English title could be a big stepping stone for her. She has the skills to be a danger to any fighter in the world, it is maybe a lack of power that holds her back.
Kelly Brook: Kelly has proven to be one of our finest exports when it comes to English stars to the FCBA. Winning more titles then you can shake a stick at, a former BBU welterweight champion, multiple time FCBA lightweight champion and a former BBU JMDD champion. Kelly has done it all in her Hall of Fame career, apart from of course win the English title. It could be a great fight for both as they certainly don't shy away from using their power. Leah could use a big name on her CV to bump her right up the rankings and add a hell of a legacy to the field out the gates.
Sophie Howard: while Sophie's record isn't brilliant, she has been someone who has flown the English flag with a real lioness pride like her stables name. Sophie will go down as a legend for always giving her all and I suspect if she fought Leah, she'd bring her best to try to add gold to that legacy. Leah might prove too powerful for her, Sophie has the experience to drag Leah I to the deep waters if the champion isn't at their best.
Jamella Jamil: Jamella is an interesting story when you look at her career outside the ring and in it. Starting as a TV presenter on "T4" on a weekend morning, who'd have thought she'd become an actress rubbing shoulders with Hollywood stars. In the ring she has won five out of eight bouts, the issue has been her not really taking the sport too seriously, taking long breaks in her career. She did come back though earlier this year to blast out Laura Pausini in just a round. Could a clash with Leah be a surprise classic?
That's just a few options, there will probably be new fighters coming to the BBU looking to seek glory now they don't have to work right away to a world title bout. The English title could be a major boost for fighters from this country in the same way the Italian lightweight title worked wonders for that countries celebrity female boxers.
That's all we have time for folks. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts. Also to countrymouse and Vassago for writing the bouts we spoke about. We will be back next Sunday morning for the the next edition of the Real View.
