Part 1: Paula Tumala Vs Charlotte Church This was an intriguing contest for as much the factors outside the ring as inside it. Paula Tumala has had an impressive start to her career with three victories in her four fights. She decided she wanted a real test and got the contract signed by former multiple time champion Charlotte Church. Who hasn't had as many fights lately as she'd like.
The big story is that Paula's manager is Charlotte's stablemate Doda. So Paula had the best scout she could have about Charlotte. While is there any possible issues brewing within the Lioness Club between Doda and Charlotte? Pundits and those who love drama watched this clash with keen eyes.
Off they went in the ring with both women slugging it out early. Charlotte looked rusty as the better combos were coming from Paula. The Polish Fighter was backing up Charlotte with punches landing square through the mitts of the Welsh singer.
Round after round went by with Paula wearing down Charlotte with pounding punches. Charlotte didn't look quite herself but obviously Paula was not giving her room to breath. That led to a beating in the fifth round that ended up with Church being knocked down and counted out in empathic style.
This was a very impressive victory for Paula. She was able to dominate for the most part someone who will be a Hall of Famer. Charlotte yes was ring rusty, still to treat her as Paul's did is a statement.
Outside the ring we have to wonder what the Lioness Club is going to be like going forwards with Doda being more a nuisance then when she was there every day. Mel B will need to work out how to change her fighters up when they come against Doda's girls.

Part 2: Jena Frumes Vs Rhiannon Fish Jena Frumes certainly took a hard challenge in fighting Rhiannon Fish. Jena lost her debut bout several months ago when she fought Maki Itoh. Rhiannon is on a hell of a roll and had won fifteen out of twenty seven bouts. The odds were firmly on the side of the Aussie fighter to bring home the victory.
It was Jena who flew out the gates as she pounded Rhiannon around her guard with hooks. Rhiannon looked a little surprised by the aggression but Jena was clearly in the mood to beat up Fish. At the bell Rhiannon gave Jena a hard glare to show she wasn't in the mood for upsets.
Back and forth went the action as they both tried to overpower their rival. Jena was holding her own against Rhiannon, who landed several beautiful combinations, she just couldn't seem to scare off Frumes from coming back at her.
The wheels finally came off for Jena as all the energy she expended to try to take Rhiannon down. A harpoon like right in the seventh sent down Jena to a knee. Jena pushed to her feet to show her toughness, it wasn't long till she had to go back down as the body assault took the fight out of the American. Jena went zero and two in her career after being counted out.
This was certainly a harder bout then I bet Rhiannon thought it would be. It did give her a work out ahead of any potential title bouts. She has been on a hell of a run and you have to say she will deserve a shot at some point.

Part 3: Kelly Reilly Vs Kate Lawler The return of Kelly Reilly to the ring took place last night against someone well known to us in the Real View offices in Kate Lawler. Kate is not shy of her opinions. From what we can gather in private that Kate wasn't exactly worried about Kelly before they stepped into the ring together.
It should be said that Kelly had been training and helping some of the younger actresses on the "Yellowstone" set in the sweet science. Had the time off and the time to train at her pace helped to improve her in the twilight of her career?
As expected Kate rushed out her corner to try to press Kelly backwards. Kelly showed good skills to dodge and land her own counter shots. The opening round was a close affair with Kate looking annoyed she hadn't pinned down the redhead.
Still Kate kept being the aggressor and paid for it at times with punches slamming into her face. Kelly was able to keep away from the ropes and looked in fine form. Marking up the face of the blonde as Kate grew more and more angry as she wasn't having the success she wanted.
Leading into the fifth round. Kate had eaten big punches that hurt her in the round before. A booming right hook on her chin sent Kate down to the canvas with the lights out and nobody home. Kate maybe still has a headache today after all the shots she took.
This was a very impressive performance from Kelly. Who certainly looked refreshed after having a heck of a losing run. Smartly she has realised not to try these young talents coming through, maybe not so smart is to pick fights with the like of Una Healy, especially in bare knuckle. We'll see where Kelly goes next with a real interest.

Part 4: An interview with Dannii Minogue The Ashes event in the BBU will be coming up in future. One woman who has been a big part of those events of course has been Dannii Minogue. We are proud to say we will have her on now to discuss if and her own future in the ring.
(Dannii comes on the screen in a video call from her home. She is wearing a white dressing gown with a glass of red wine in her right hand as she waves with her left to the camera)
Tom: thank you for coming on the show.
Dannii: no worries, any time I get to discuss boxing is always fun, especially to do with the Ashes here in the BBU.
Tom: well for our fans, can you please give them an idea of how important our version of the Ashes is?
Dannii: oh well I don't know if I can truly express it. We all know how important the cricket and rugby rivalry is, maybe not so much the football. (Laughing with a wink to the camera).
The Ashes here means so much to us fighters as we don't often get to represent our countries for a start. To be able to fly the Australian flag for the world to see is amazing. That is along with getting to face our rivals as let's say we have a few natural rivals with your English girl.
Tom: of course you have made the Ashes famous with your feud with Cheryl Cole.
Dannii: we certainly have had a hell of a rivalry, well verbally anyway. I have always been the better woman. I am proud though that it has helped with reputation of the event but I have been more happier to have beaten that mouthy cow and take her knickers to burn for the ashes. I am shocked she has any knickers left in that small stockpile after all the ones I have taken from her.
Tom: I am sure Cheryl will have a few words about that (laughing). Can you give us any hints who will be on this year's Australia team? Like will you be on it?
Dannii: you know I can't give you lot any advantages. I am having a say in the team is all I will say on that front. Beyond that I am keeping my cards close to my chest as this means the world to me. If we lost because I helped out the English team I'd feel horrible for weeks.
Tom: you can't fault a reporter asking. Well what does the future hold for you?
Dannii: I am not finished yet in the ring. I see people like Kelly Reilly calling out other cougars and of course there is a division for us over forties in the FCBA. Whether there will ever be a one here I don't know but I am happy to trade leather with any woman who sees fit to dare me to a match. Even that smelly rat Cheryl can step in the ring again and be reminded why she will never be at my level.
At the same time I will admit that I have been helping some of the young Aussie fighters with advice and even sparring. The ACB gave me so much and I want to see it flourish with this new generation coming through, the likes of the Twins tournament that was recently held shows the potential the ACB has of getting back to an even keel with the BBU and FCBA.
Tom: sadly that is all we have time for. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us.
Dannii: anytime, though preferably not in the middle of the night here, thankfully the wine kept me awake. (Winking).
Tom: that's all we have time for folks, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. A massive thank you to Vassago for writing the bouts over this week. We will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
