Part 1: Amy Jackson Vs Christine Bleakley While Amy Jackson isn't the youngest prospect you will ever see; she had made a triumph start to her career in the ring and was unbeaten. The veteran Christine Bleakley stood in her way as Christine looked to continue to prove she had a performance in her to surprise a lot of good fighters.
The bell rung and Amy tore right into her opponent; whacking away to the body after using little upper body movements to dodge. Christine looked to try to punch off the back foot, looking annoyed to have been overwhelmed so early by her younger foe.
Christine was trying to match the work rate of Amy. But all that Bollywood training Amy had in her younger days was on show as she was showing good stamina to keep marching forwards. She had a clear game plan too as she kept beating the body of her foe to keep opening her up till finally in the fourth round Christine needed to take a knee. While she got back up, she was shaking her head and in come the towel from her corner as she had been forced to give up.
This was very impressive from Amy, who showed what she could do when she uses her high energy to get through a fighter defence early. Christine isn't an easy opponent, arguably the way the fight went, Christine might have been not best suited style wise to tackle Amy. Time will tell if Amy can keep this up and prove to be star of the future here in the BBU with the Garnets Gunners.

Part 2: Flashback! Cheryl Cole Vs Demi LovatoSo this is our first time doing this as we look back in the BBU archives to a classic bout. We venture back to the 14th December 2011, when I didn't have hints of grey in my hair. We didn't know what the word Lockdown meant and the BBU was still young. If you want to read the bout without any spoilers (we recommend you do but that's us) then please click the link below and enjoy: fcbahistory.pbworks.com/w/page/49110970/14%20December%202011%20Cheryl%20Cole%20vs%20Demi%20LovatoOk now to the bout. First up let's have a quick stock take of the two combatants. Cheryl Cole at the time was beginning her journey really as a solo singer and had been in the running to become the first ever BBU flyweight champion. For her supporters sadly that didn't happen then, of course she would become the champion a few years ago to fulfil the potential that was touted all that time ago. Demi Lovato meanwhile was riding high as the new exciting singer around America. She had signed for the Foxfire Atlantic Boxing Stable and was posting her workout videos to show what the world of the BBU and FCBA had in store as Demi felt like a storm was coming. Her mixture of speed and power had several fighters quaking in their boots. Of course Cheryl wasn't as the Geordie has shown throughout her career that she isn't afraid of anyone. This bout was signed and took place in Cheryl's hometown of Newcastle. In fact at the face off before the fight started Cheryl threw a sneaky jab at the stomach of Demi. Who looked ready to take the head off the older woman if not for her coach cooling her off. The first round was like a sugar rush. Cheryl came charging out and the crowd ate up what she was doing. They thought she had scored a knockdown but it was actually a trip from Cole. Demi looked a little spooked, at the end of the round she said a few words to herself to get herself psyched up for the task ahead. A brutal brawl developed round after round. Demi wasn't scared of the atmosphere or of Cheryl. Both were hurting as time ticked away and Cheryl looked frustrated by the resilience of the young woman. Demi kept on coming, even as late in the round she was losing rounds back to back. The sheer will of Lovato was on show. The tenth round came and both looked exhausted. Demi kept on fighting back but she was being beaten badly at times. Cheryl couldn't finish the job as the bell rung to end the fight with both proud women standing. Cheryl won the unanimous decision but still wanted to fight as she tried to charge Demi's corner. In Cheryl's eyes it was a humiliation she wasn't able to beat the then teenage Demi's lights out. Demi wisely got out the ring to safety. Of course after that fight over the years both would find new homes as Cheryl went from the Kears Kat's into the Lioness Club. Demi from Foxfire to Lookout! Boxing. Both would win gold and while you could maybe argue (harshly) that both should have achieved more in their careers title wise. Both have been at the top throughout their careers and both deserve recognition for that. For those wondering about the beef between them? Well this is surprisingly the lone fight between them and with Demi not as active now, we don't see a rematch ever taking place. Still both can be proud of a magical contest they had together, even if we are sure they won't be sharing a cup of tea or coffee together to remember it without fists flying.

Part 3: Ivana Baquero Vs Ashley Mescia preview As we get information leaking to us about the next pay per view, one bout we have confirmed sees former BBU flyweight champion Ivana Baquero take on Aussie prospect Ashley Mescia in the latters first time fighting outside of Australia as she comes to Wales to fight.
This bout will be intriguing for both women. Ivana is looking to get herself back into title contention, she hit a road bump several months ago when she lost to Jade Thirlwall. She is looking to build momentum again as there is a question whether she is getting stuck in the mix of fighters all scrambling to earn a shot.
Ashley meanwhile lost in the finals of the twins tournament in Australia to ACB bantamweight champion Elisha Herbert. Who it has to be said she gave a heck of a fight to. Ashley is early in her career considering this is just her fourth ever fight, winning her first two before that defeat. You might say well why is she taking this fight on so early. Celebrity female boxing has shown over the years that sometimes a real prospect can cause an upset or at least give the top contenders a bloody nose on the way to a loss.
Funnily enough if you look at the early career of Ivana, she was locked in a feud with arguably the best flyweight the BBU has seen in its history, Jenna Louise Coleman was Ivana's first opponent and has since been a major thorn in her side. There has been champions who have won belts in only a couple of fights. While the odds on paper are against Ashley, she very well might come out looking a major star even in defeat.
All the pressure will be on Ivana; if she can put in a good performance then the news will be good for her, any hint of weakness in this bout and it could be bad press for her. Ashley has shown she can trouble top fighter already, will this be a mistake from Baquero to take this fight?

Part 4: Hour Glass Fitness Boxing stable revival On the 11th of November the new broke that the world famous Hour Glass Fitness Boxing stable was being reborn. With Louis's Redknapp and Kerry Katona running the stable, they have based themselves and the stables training facilities in Brighton. With a list of great stars ranging from footballers like Mary Erps, to singers like Charli XCX and models like Karlie Kloss. It will be interesting to see what the stable can do.
For a history lesson on the stable; the original version was formed in 2009 with Maria Ford and Mariska Hargitay heading up the stable then, while Shakira and Britney Spears were the talent in the ring. Britney would hold an FCBA Bantamweight title during the stables history.
Sadly the original version had financial issues and were taken under the wing of Front Street Boxing, till finally the doors were officially shut in 2018 with Britney brought in as a coach to Front Street and Shakira not being so lucky to be signed. While the stable was far from the biggest or most successful, it did have success and managed to show you could have a small pool of taken and be successful.
This new version will be a lot bigger then the original and has clearly some real plans to be a major player. Already they have made it clear they want to be part of both the BBU and FCBA. You have a good mixture of young fighters, along with some older fighters who have been unlucky not to managers to back them up for awhile.
The duo of Louise and Kerry will be the interesting component. Neither had massive success in their own careers. Success in one's own career of course doesn't mean you can lead others to that same goal. If both are firmly on the same page and with their links around Brighton. This could be a stable we see having a lot of success by this time next year.
That's all we have time for folks; thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. A big thank you to Vassago for writing the bout we spoke about this week. We will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.

As they sat together in the office of their Brighton seafront training centre, Kerry and Louise were really happy that this was another piece of positive coverage for Hour Glass Fitness in the media.
However, it was a little disconcerting for them both that focus was coming on their own past boxing career and if they were suitable for the management role at Hour Glass Fitness. They both understood the pressure that was placed upon them by the stable’s owners and knew that in the months ahead the expensive signings they had made to their roster they had to deliver results.
The mix of female fighters with both experience and some needing additional coaching and training to realise their full potential was a reflection of the pair’s management approach. With some additional final roster signings still to come, Kerry and Louise knew that it was time to start to get some of the girls into the ring and let the results speak for themselves.
