Here is a link to that card: bbuchat.freeforums.net/thread/2577/bbu-lightweight-boxing-4-fightsAs always we recommend that if you haven't read the bouts from this past week that you go look them up. We will of course be spoiling them in our reviews. While also you will be robbing yourself the enjoyment of wonderfully written fights.

Part 1: Rochelle Humes vs Anastasia Ronca The main event from the lightweight division showcase event saw a battle of a veteran looking to regain glory against her younger foe. Rochelle is a former BBU lightweight champion, she hasn't quite found that form again in her career with some doubting if she will again.
While Anastasia is a young Italian beauty hoping to show she deserves to be recognised amongst the best of her nation, which has become a big force in the division over the past few years.
The start of the round looked like Anastasia might walk through her opponent as Rochelle was getting caught at times by pinpoint uppercuts from her opponents guard. The movement of Rochelle seemed to be her best attribute.
They resumed in the second round with Rochelle starting to land some crisp counters, Anastasia looked thrown off her game as she was trying to walk her way through the former champion. The crowd was enthralled as they were watching the fighters almost in a dance, Anastasia was being led by her nose at times by Rochelle into making mistakes.
That led to the third round, where Humes caught Ronca with an absolute beautiful counter right hook on the chin. Anastasia was shook up as she found herself rocked. Rochelle beat her around the head and Anastasia was crumbling into the ropes. The referee stepped in as Anastasia looked out on her feet to give Rochelle an important victory.
Rochelle reminding everyone what a force she can be when on her A game. Anastasia got a taste of it and it will be interesting to see if Rochelle can turn the years back for a possible run to another title?

Part 2: Jodie Comer Vs Natasha Bernard Jodie Comer just recently signed by the Beevers Babes stable was looking to impress her new group by taking down model Natasha Bernard. Jodie has shown potential in the past, at thirty years old you have to be honest and say it is now or never for her to make a run to the title picture.
Natasha didn't look too impressed by Jodie when she stepped into the ring. Natasha hasn't had the same media hype behind her or really being pushed by her agent as much. Having a massive hit TV show certainly helps open doors and Natasha has had to come through the hard way.
The opening bell saw both women come out the blocks quickly to exchange. It was evenly fought for the most part till Natasha cracked a hard right across the chin of the Scouser. Natasha motored forwards and had Comer covering up for the rest of the round.
After that though Jodie was in top gear. Natasha found herself being beaten back with slick combinations. Natasha fought hard to stay in the fight but by the fifth round she was hurting. A barrage of punches had the South African reeling till a final right hook sent her crashing down to the canvas for the count.
Jodie has made it known that now she has a stable, she is desperate to make an impact in the BBU. She wants a rematch with her conquerer Dua Lipa at some point and a lightweight title sometime this year. It is great to see her so focused as that has been the biggest issue of her career.

Part 3: Shannon Singh Vs Alessia Uva Undefeated Shannon Singh has become a bit of a phantom. She started her career off strong with two wins but then hasn't been seen. She told the media before her fight that a few issues in her life kept her out the ring but she was ready to resume her career.
Across the ring from her was former BBU Italian lightweight title challenger Alessia Uva. Alessia has had mixed form after a strong start to her own career. Both women had a few words on social media before this contest and boy was it tense when these two gorgeous women went nose to nose for the final instructions by the referee.
Both went for each other with a vengeance. All that pre-fight talk wasn't a bluff, early on Shannon got cut above her left eyebrow. Shannon's left hook was hammering the ribs of Alessia to make her groan as it looked to bring her up on her toes. The referee at the bell had to push them apart as neither wanted to stop.
Round two saw them resume where they left off. Alessia was planting her feet and being drawn into the Scottish woman's style of fight. A straight flush to the chin of Uva opened her up to frankly an arse whopping! Alessia was beaten as she tried to fight back. It proved too much for her as she hit the deck and was sobbing as she had no strength to beat the count.
What a victory for Shannon! What a way to reannounce yourself to the BBU fans. Hopefully she doesn't disappear again. She lost her best friend Bethany Lily April to the FCBA when Bethany moved onto the Celebrity Wrestling Federation stable. Shannon might have to move up to be the face of the This is Glamour stable.
While Alessia might still be wondering what hit her. I do wonder if Alessia has let the bad form get to her mentally. She fought Shannon's style and it led to her being pounded out. Alessia is in gut check time and so far she has been found wanting.

Part 4: Klaudia El Dursi vs Cosmary Fasanelli Klaudia El Dursi is certainly starting to turn heads, the undefeated Polish fighter is starting to move up the rankings and taking some names. This time arguably she took an easier test, except Cosmary Fasanelli is very physically fit and looks a solid boxer.
In the opening round Cosmary got a taste of her opponents power. Klaudia landed some nice straight punches square into the face of the Italian to rock her head back. Cosmary meanwhile worked behind a nice jab as she showed the better footwork.
While Cosmary was giving Klaudia some trouble with her footwork. Once Klaudia could pin down her younger foe, she was landing some meaty hooks to make Cosmary cry out. Cosmary showed resilience to keep on going as Klaudia was being made to work round after round.
The sixth round was where the curtain fell on the bout. Cosmary got caught with in an exchange with a left hook on her chin. While the other punches wore her down, this was one too many as down she went like a sack of spuds to the canvas. Klaudia remaining undefeated.
It should be said that Klaudia wants a shot at Rochelle. After Rochelle's performance in the main event of the night, that could very well prove to be a classic if both bring their best. Klaudia has all the confidence in the world along with her power. Rochelle has the skills, experience and point to prove. Keep your eyes peeled for that fight with a little bit of a grudge on top as a cherry on top.
That's all we have time for folks! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts. Also thank you to Knowlesley for writing the bouts we discussed this week. We should be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View!
