Real View Intro:Hello ladies and gentleman; this was an interesting week, especially if you enjoy an international flavour. There were four fights with a mixture of stars from around the world seeking to beat each other for pride, for future title shots and one was a grudge fight: bbuchat.freeforums.net/thread/2593/international-boxing-matchups-weekAs always we recommend that if you haven't read the bouts from this past week that you go look them up. We will of course be spoiling them in our reviews. While also you will be robbing yourself the enjoyment of wonderfully written fights.

Part 1: Rochelle Humes vs Klaudia El Dursi Two women who have an eye on a future lightweight title fight in their future, also have had a few choice words for each other over the past few months. Rochelle Humes is a former BBU lightweight champion and seems to have found some footing again after a rough period struggling to gain traction. Klaudia El Dursi is undefeated in her career and wanted to take a step up into the elite.
They kicked off the fight exchanging around the center of the ring. Rochelle looked to use her footwork along with straight punches to hold off her opponent. Klaudia hammered back on the inside to push back the former champion.
After the opening round it was clear that Klaudia has a punch that can hurt Rochelle. Each time she unleashed with power Rochelle was being pinged around the ring. Rochelle would go down in the third and fifth round but showed her toughness to get back up.
That resistance finally came to a halt in the sixth round as a brutal right hook sent down Humes for the count. Klaudia looked amazing and Robin Holzken might be hugging her lightweight title tightly after watching this performance.

Part 2: Samia Ghadie vs Sayumi Michishige Veteran Samia Ghadie is not slowing down as she took on the challenge of Japanese star Sayumi Michishige. Sayumi has struggled to get action but looked keen when she stepped into the ring to prove that she deserves the spotlight over Samia.
The opening round was an intriguing clash of styles. Samia used her footwork and jab against the power and body punching of Sayumi. At the bell both women stared their opponent down as it was clear this was going to be a heated bout.
Both went back and forth as they wanted this win badly. Samia was holding off Sayumi nicely at times with some beautiful combos. Sayumi though would pin her down at times and test the toughness of the veteran as they traded in close.
But in the end one woman was worn down till she couldn't take anymore. Sayumi was drenched in sweat and it was clear that she was ring rusty as Samia knocked her down in the fifth with a nasty body shot. While Sayumi fought hard in the sixth round, she couldn't get back up after being knocked down and was counted out.
Samia continues to be an interesting factor in the flyweight division. She goes through good and bad spells but the fact that she is still in ring shape and winning fights. She is doing great in that regard. Now I do wonder what is next for her as plenty of women would love to knock her out as Samia also isn't shy with her words.

Part 3: Alesha Dixon vs Joanna Opozda Oh boy does this fight have some interesting history, they fought it out a year ago with Joanna beating Alesha. That wasn't what the interesting part was. Alesha said that Joanna cheated by having her gloves roughed up to cause cuts. This was match Alesha wanted badly.
The first two rounds were closely fought affairs. Alesha got caught a few times with hooks to make her back off. Joanna though found herself being plugged square into her face to make her have to think about her attacks.
For all the complaints Alesha made about her opponent in the build up. Joanna was starting to bulldoze her as they got more engaged in the contest. Alesha was fighting with her back towards the ropes and found blood coming from a cut under her left eye.
Finally in the fifth round Dixon was knocked out by a nasty right across her right. Joanna would go on to prove her superior after the bell as she wanted Alesha to understand that who is the better woman. Alesha might not make any accusations on her from now on.
Joanna looked good and was able to dictate the fight as time went on. How she goes from this point on we will have to see but there is talent there. Alesha meanwhile is a glutton for punishment, who will she piss off next?

Part 4: Brooks Nader Vs Sara Sampaio Former lightweight title challenger Brooks Nader looked to get herself back on the right path by taking on Portuguese beauty Sara Sampaio. Who has been searching for form and a new stable in recent years. These two models both needed a win for their confidence.
The early going saw Brooks look the stronger fighter as she knocked Sara back in their early exchanges. There was a cut above the right eyebrow of Sampaio to give her something to think about as the first two rounds went to the American on the scorecards.
Back came Sara though as she showed her fighting spirit. She was able to plaster the face of her foe with several solid straight shots. Brooks didn't look overly worried, her coach made sure to remind her to keep fully focused.
But Sara's comeback wilted as Brooks was beating her backwards. The raw strength of Nader was on show and while Sara told her coach she wanted to fight on. The sixth round was too much for her as she was simply beaten to the canvas by a barrage of power punches.
Brooks is a serious threat in the lightweight division. It looked like she got a little stage fright when she fought for the world title, so it would be interesting to see if that would happen again.
That's all we have time for folks! Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts. Also a massive thank you to Knowlesley for writing the bouts that went up this week. We will be back next Sunday for the next edition of the Real View.
