Part 1: BBU flyweight title bout: Diana Korkunova Vs Michelle Keegan review A bout that has arguably been months in the making as on one side you had the challenger Diana Korkunova carving a path through fighters looking for another flyweight title. On the other side of the ring was the champion Michelle Keegan. Who has had a career rejuvenation and became a two time BBU flyweight champion.
There was harsh words exchanged over the past month in anticipation of this contest. Michelle leading most of it, whether to get into her challengers head or simply she doesn't like her. Diana wasn't exactly shy about her thoughts on who should be the champion come the end of the pay per view.
Out they came to a roar from the crowd. Michelle looked crisp with her punches in the opening minute, working back her foe. Late in the opener though Diana arguably stole it with a nice right hook to the body making Michelle grimace before the champ was bullied around the perimeter of the ring by her younger rival.
After that Michelle looked like she was going to be done as Diana really laid on her punches. Two knock-downs came; one in the third before another came in the fourth round. Michelle fought wildly to survive as Diana looked like she had one hand on the title belt.
Never count out this version of Keegan. She surprised Diana and ripped in some beautiful counter shots. It was clear Diana had threw a lot of her reserves to try to win the title back. Michelle found a second win as she pegged back her rival to the delight of her supporters.
The sixth round saw Diana kissing the canvas, needing to summon up her own reserves to get up. One round later though and she was out cold as Michelle caught her with a beauty of a shot that put the lights out of the challenger. Leaving Michelle the champion for another month to a loud cheer from those who probably thought about throwing their betting slips away when she was down twice.
Some might see a little drama here about the refereeing as the fifth round did see Michelle at times just soaking up pressure from Diana. Though it shows why referees (at least in the BBU) are not ones to jump in as easily in title bouts. Michelle has evened the score with Diana and now we look forwards to who the next challenger is.

Part 2: BBU lightweight title bout Klaudia El Dursi Vs Robin Holzken review Klaudia El Dursi has been part of a rise in Polish stunners in the BBU. With a proud history with the likes of Dorota Rabczewska and Joanna Krupa holding belts before. Could Klaudia join that group and hold a title.
Funnily enough as we ended 2023 we spoke about the Dutch revolution in the BBU. With two world champions being crown from the country. Robin Holzken was one of those and the big question was could she keep the momentum going.
The bout begun with Klaudia using her usual front foot style to push back the champion. Robin getting a good taste of why Klaudia has been so dominant through the lightweight ranks. Not long later Robin answered her with her long range piston like shots mixed in with her footwork putting off the challengers rhthym.
There was nice back and forth action between the two gorgeous battlers. Round four saw the first piece of major drama as Robin was laid out on her back by a nasty hook to the chin. She got up at six as it was more a flash knockdown then one of substance. Still it gave Robin a scare and she boxed with more aggression to show her opponent she wouldn't relinquish the title that easily.
The theme of the fight though was Robin frustrating her challenger. Klaudia couldn't build the momentum she wanted and started making mistakes as her face was being pummeled. Leading to the seventh round when Robin landed a hard right that sent down a bloodied Klaudia to her back. The count reached ten and Robin kept the Dutch revolution going.
It was a cracking bout between these two skilled fighters. Klaudia we can see being back in world title fights in future. While Robin looked sublime when she got her rhthym going. The best part of Holzken fans was the fact she was able to build up her punches against someone who was pressuring her, that has to fill them with much confidence going forwards in this title reign.

Part 3: BBU bantamweight title bout Natalia Siwiec Vs Sophia Thomalla review The old adage of the immoveable object against the unstoppable force. Natalia Siwiec has really been knocking people out left, right and center to earn a title shot. While Sophia Thomalla has not lost a single bout, while holding the BBU bantamweight title for over two years, going on three. One fighters undefeated record was going to fall by the wayside.
Sophia pounded in straight shots to start the fight as Natalia felt her way into the opening round. Once the challenger found her footing though she came out guns blazing. Leading to some nasty exchanges as the fighters let their fists do the talking.
Round three saw Sophia take a tumble as a left hook put her down. It wasn't a solid knockdown as Sophia was up at four. Still it was a warning to Thomalla that Siwiec's power is for real. The champion finding herself bullied around at times by the challenger to get the crowd smelling a minor upset coming.
But Sophia took a deep breath and found another gear. Natalia was being caught flush around her face. Leading to her going down in the middle part of the fight. Showing resilience to give Sophia a headache. Still she'd go down in the eighth round before finally succumbing to the brutal shots she was taking to not get up in the ninth round.
While the three knockdowns Sophia scored will make this fight look a little one sided, it was anything but that. Natalia came forwards and had Sophia in trouble at times. Problem was for Siwiec was she didn't capitalise on it as the champion did. If you want a bout to show what makes Sophia such a force in the BBU, this is certainly one you could use.

Part 4: Ela Kawalec Vs Kara Del Toro review The JMDD title has seemingly become the property of Hailey Clauson with her dominance. While Hailey took on Nicole Harrison in a welterweight clash as she wants another shot at that title. We also had Ela Kawalec and Kara Del Toro duking it out to try to get another shot at Hailey for her diamond encrusted title bra.
To say there was tension between these two models is an understatement. You could have cut the tension between them with a machete as it was clear how much they disliked each other. Of course they saw each other as a wall that needed to be knocked down to get a title bout in their future. It also felt like a little jealousy creeped in too with both so similar physically.
Kara came out the gates quickly in the opening round. Ela looked a little shocked by the pace but fought back with gusto as we got a preview of what was to come. The second round seeing Ela dominate till Kara was able to come firing back in a display of brutal punching around the jugs of the Polish fighter.
Back and forth the action went as simply neither wanted to let their opponent have an inch. They kept fighting in close ripping away at each others torsos as well as jugs. Kara looked frustrated at times she couldn't push back Ela as she would have liked in a bruising contest.
Things got especially worse for Del Toro as Ela cracked her to the body and down went the American in the fifth round. Kara fought to get to her feet but was a sitting duck in the sixth round. Being put down and simply not able to beat the count from her back. Ela of course would humiliate her in classic JMDD style after the final bell rang out.
The real drama came after the bout. Ela saw a keen observer in Hailey at ringside. They exchanged words and even though they are stablemates. It is official that someday soon Ela will look to win the JMDD title from the dominant champion Hailey Clauson. Expect no love lost in that bout or any quarter given.
That's all we have time for folks. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts. Also a massive thank you to Caspian and Knowlesley for their bouts. We hope to be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
