BEFORE: Since the Welterweight Title Tournament kicked off before The Sirens have joined BBU, Petra Nemcova simply couldn't make the original line-up.
The Czech veteran has emerged as one of the supreme punchers in the 130+ lbs division and racked up six consecutive wins to put herself in prime position to become the mandatory challenger to whoever claims the belts.
And she wants to have a really close look at the elite competition so she headlines the BBU PPV undercard against fellow light/welter tweener Manuela Arcuri.
The Italian model is a former BBU lightweight champion but has found little success above 130 lbs and was subsequently cut by the Latin Union front office.
Her last win dates back to January 2014 when she knocked out Michelle Ryan in three rounds and of course the British actress now makes plenty of noise over in America so this gives the fans a clear indication how much the fortunes have changed for both these women.
Can Manuela roll back the years and upset the chief candidate for Rookie Of The Year award tonight?

Round 1:
Manuela's record is still very impressive despite a lenghty losing skid over the past three seasons. BBU TV's Denise van Outen doesn't believe this fight will even reach half-distance and both women jump into immediate head hunting assault and stalk each other in the center of the ring.
Arcuri's heard all about the blonde's glorious introduction to BBU and knows she won't be able to drag her into a defensive battle whatsoever but Petra's longer reach makes the difference early in the going and the Siren picks off her rival with more efficiency which draws a loud ovation from the Welsh audience.
Manuela skims off the forearms a little too often but she avoids eating the big punch and keeps hassling around the boards showing an improved footwork compared to her opponent.
Petra doesn't usually care about that as her supreme reach and outright power usually are more than enough to complete the job but her execution drops come the final minute and Arcuri stings her to the body with a late switch that catches several pundits and fans alike by surprise.
Both women lock themselves in a lenghty clinch to see out the clock but that was a really even contest despite Nemcova arguably throwing more punches.
Round 2:
Denise van Outen thinks that Nemcova will search for that one-punch KO but she eats a quick combo at the start of the second as Arcuri jumps straight at her and bumps her jug-to-jug before scything her across the lips.
Another drilling hook finds the temple and drops the taller model on her heels while the Italian drives to the body and bends Nemcova into some unexpected spasms.
A really solid rally on the ribcage reels the Czech onto the ropes and she misses a swing from the back foot which allows Arcuri to crash into her lips again... a swift follow up connects with the jaw and Petra gets trapped here and is forced to cover up for a subsequent flurry of Italian punches. Manuela rains blows all over the subdued foe and barks in her efforts to find that haymaker... she just can't quite split Nemcova's guard frequently enough but the Czech can only stumble against the turnbuckle and seek a clinching respite.
She eats a nasty hook on the right eye which begins to swell come the final minute but Arcuri keeps working to the body late to prevent the blonde's recovery and that was as impressive as anyone could have expected from the former lightweight champion tonight!
Round 3:
Petra looks visibly upset during the interval, she got caught by the Italian's rush early in the previous round and never recovered... she makes sure Manuela can't explore a similar route now and sidesteps away from another up-tempo approach.. Arcuri zips past the blonde and bounces off her shoulder before a brutal uppercut tags her on the jaw and allows Nemcova to send a proper follow up series through the middle.
She blasts the brunette's jugs to stuff her in the middle of the ring and buries a left-hander deep on the liver area.. Ugh! Manuela is HURT!!! The first proper body attack from the Czech model has caught her by surprise and she wobbles into a crunching hook on the jaw with her arms dropping down to hug the aching liver... Arcuri's knees hit the jelly mode and she yelps her pain out with eyes closed but Nemcova still manages to land a bonus hook on the nose THAT SENDS THE BRUNETTE CRASHING DOWN in the corner.
Poor Manuela banged her head against the ropes as she was going down and she remains spread eagle on the canvas until the count reaches seven... she tries to get up but succumbs to the liver pain as well as that head shot and drops on her back again to mumble her departure from this heavy-hitting PPV undercard contest. KO3 Petra Nemcova!!!

AFTER: The Czech model rises to the occasion again and secures win number seven to further boost her contender profile.
Truth be told, she's defeated some lightweights along the way but since even BBU Hall of Famer Sabrina Washington rode the light/welter tweener career, there's no reason to believe Petra can't repeat that kind of numbers herself.
She displayed supreme punching power tonight but was a little fortunate she caught Manuela on the liver during a seemingly one-dimensional head hunting pursuit everyone predicted.
Denise van Outen wonders can anyone actually beat the blonde in pure swarming contest as most of the title hopefuls rely on their power rather than movements as well and anything but a war of attrition just doesn't sound right to describe a boxing contest featuring the Czech model. Admittedly, Jenna Pietersen earns the top performance marks for lasting almost nine rounds vs Nemcova last time around but she's also missing from the Tournament line-up due to entering BBU after the selection deadline.
Could the Instragram sensations stick their foot in the door instead? That's gonna be a major storyline to follow in the upcoming weeks. Watch this space!
