Final Part: Dua Lipa interview(Michelle is sitting on a set with a white wall in the background, she is sitting facing her guest Dua)
Michelle Joy Phelps: hey guys, it feels way too long since I was here but I've been busy travelling the world since the last time I was here doing my day job of reporting on pro fights.
Now though I am happy to say I am talking to one of the newest BBU girls, Dua Lipa thank you for giving us this interview.
Dua: it is great to talk to you and my fans about this new adventure in my life.
Michelle: well we should start with what got you into celebrity boxing, you have a great future in music so it is interesting to see you do this too.
Dua: I simply love boxing, I have been doing it the last few years to keep in shape, you have to remember I was a model too, though admittedly I couldn't stick to the diet they expected me to so that's why I went to my first love, singing.
Now though I get a chance to have real fights, I had a few in my modelling days but those were let's say catty, this is the real thing and I love to test myself.
Michelle: well we have a video that is up on YouTube of you training to show people how real you are on boxing.
m.youtube.com/watch?v=QnU-c48CT8YMichelle: I have to simply say wow, you really look a natural in there, maybe still need a bit work to be on Adriana Lima's level
Dua: I'd absolutely be in heaven if I got to that level, I have actually had the pleasure of being at the world famous Gotham gym with Adriana one day, the trainers wanted me to see how hard she works, I have a lot of work is what I learned.
Michelle: well we have a picture of you at the Gorham gym in New York.
Michelle: we also hear you train in gyms wherever you tour and rumours are that one of the London based stables let you train there before your big debut earlier this month.
Dua: (laughing) on the rumour front, sadly no dice on the stable news, I'd love to have done that but I trained at the gym I always do in London and no I won't say which one!
Now on the visiting different gyms; you learn so much from different coaches and the different sparring partners, if I coukd visit different stable gyms from the UK, to America, to Australia, I would be in my element.
Of course that won't happen as it is a political minefield, I mean I could tell other stables secrets from another I visit and so on, I fully understand that so I'll stick with my visiting open gyms.
Michelle: we've spoke a lot about your work outside the ring, how about we discuss your dominant win over Claire Cooper to start your career, what is your memories of that fight?
Dua: the look on Claire's face when I knocked her clean out is one of those memories that'll stick with me as she made her mouth go and I paid her back for it.
I want other fighters to know that if you push my buttons, I will punish you in that ring, Claire found that out, I hope her friend Ali Bastian doesn't make the same mistake, though I will be knocking her out.
Michelle: Ali I bet will be interested to hear that haha, that of course the fight will be on PPV, so what is the plan to beat her?
Dua: I will just do to her as I did Claire, meaning to batter her all over the ring with my height and power, I've seen her on video and she has nothing that frightens me one bit.
Michelle: we are nearly out of time, other then being a champion, what goals do you have in the BBU and beyond?
Dua: as you said champion is on the list; but the key ones at the moment are to get a stable, to earn a big fight and maybe that fight with Adriana Lima to show I've achieved the dream.
I know my fans will be with me all the way and I will do my best to win for you guys.
Michelle: thank you Dua and our viewers, hopefully today's show was a fun if different one then we usually put out
