Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; I hope you have enjoyed the show while I have too an extended break the past two weeks, now I am back and while it's been a bit quiet action wise, we still have lots of things to speak about.
Like as our first part of today's show shows; we are going to discuss the PPV fights that are coming up for this Wednesday, the biggest fight being the BBU bantamweight title fight between Helen Flanagan and the champion Lea Seydoux.
Then the second part sees us discuss the up coming Nicola Roberts vs Olympia Valance, the two women have been on course for the past month over Olympia battering Nicola's stablemate Kimberley Walsh, we preview the fight.
Third on the show; we discuss the Alexis Ren vs Danielle Robertson that is also on the PPV, are we seeing Alexis maybe beginning a run in the BBU? We'll make our predictions.
Finally on the show, we finish the recap of last year by discussing October to December's big moments, last year saw many big moments and hopefully we can show you how we got to where we are today.
A quick remainder; the BBU PPV will be taking place on this Wednesday 31st January, we hope you'll be there as we will be to see the talented BBU stars battle it out.

Part 1: Helen Flanagan vs Lea Seydoux Not long till the BBU PPV for the month and while we know the BBU welterweight title would be finding a home soon between Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls, what we didn't see I think it's far to say is Helen Flanagan getting a shot at Lea Seydoux's BBU bantamweight title.
Now to be clear; Helen is a top boxer who has been fighting in the FCBA and the BBU for years, her record of 15 wins, 14 knockouts and 17 defeats isn't exactly something to crow about at the moment.
That's when you compare it to the champion whose record stands at 20 wins, 19 knockouts and 10 defeats, she is also on a 8 fight win streak.
Then you add the physical stats, Helen is the younger by 4 years but is 3 inches smaller then her opponent, so her only real hope it seems is to get in close and keep the pressure on Lea and try to make her crumble.
On that fact; Helen does have an outside chance, I mean she has shown dynamite power in her fists and has won big fights, like when she beat Kat Dennings at the infamous Asylum in Philadelphia.
She also won a round robin tournament with a clean sweep by beating other top young talent consisting of Rita Ora, Debby Ryan and Hayley Orrantia!
So she does have a chance, but she has to overcome one of the most fearsome bantamweights in my opinion in BBU history, Lea has flyweight speed and bantamweight power, only Rosie Jones I can think of off my the top of my head fits that bill.
I have to be boring and pick the favourite, I think it will take a special performance to dethrone her and I don't know if Helen can muster it up.
But for the record; my heart is pulling for Helen as I bet many will be as people love an underdog, this will be a very interesting fight as so many things could happen.

Part 2: Nicola Roberts vs Olympia Valance OK a quick round up; November saw Olympia Valance take a big step up in class as she fought Kimberley Walsh, it was a hell of a clash that saw Olympia frankly outlasted her, before she called out Nicola.
Now the undefeated Olympia has another big test in front of her, while she is now 4 and 0 in her career with the recently turned 25 year old hoping to continue that run.
But the 32 year old Nicola is looking to give her that first defeat to her name, she holds her own record of 12 wins, 10 by knockout and 14 defeats to her name.
Nicola has seen my praise as she really stepped up in 2016 in quality of her performances, sadly results have never seemed to be sustained though sadly for her, this year I believe is massive for her when we see her stablemates like Cheryl Cole rising to championship gold, can she do that?
Physically; Olympia is the younger and holds a 3 inch height advantage, the fact she also is a big bantamweight, meaning she can fight as a lightweight as makes it likely she is the bigger puncher.
But Nicola has a box of tricks that Olympia is starting to only get herself now, can the stunning redhead find an answer to overcome the physical advantages?
I honestly think she can; that might surprise you but she has beaten fighters like Lisa Maffia who are bigger, the issue is going to be age in my opinion.
Olympia showed she has an engine that can go all day and if she can survive a moment that I believe that will come, which is Nicola being in control and in tight to her, then it's Valance's fight to lose.
This could be a sleeper fight of the night; so keep your eyes on this fight on Wednesday to try to steal the show.

Part 3: Alexis Ren vs Danielle RobertsonOne thing you can't say about the sister stables of the Vixens and the Sirens, their fighters are not afraid to scrap and in fact; it seems to be a highlight of their years when they are announced to fight each other when I get a chance to visit the gyms. So it won't surprise you that the first time these two fight each other has a lot of buzz around our offices, the 21 year old Alexis Ren has dominated the FCBA lightweight rankings and holds a record of 13 wins, all by knockout and only 3 defeats. That has to make Danielle somewhat question herself coming into the fight as she already has 4 defeats to her own name, only 2 wins with both by knockout on her record. But Danielle is 3 inches taller then Alexis, she is certainly not a slouch in the gym, it just seems to be that she doesn't fully focused and it leads to her getting caught. That is something only she can really work on as no one else can get in the ring and tell her what to do at every moment, she needs to get her head fully in this sport and if she does, she very well might upset Alexis. I personally don't see it; Alexis is just such a great all round fighter, her defeats were from Alyssa Lynch, Kendall Jenner and the tank like Anllela Sagra, so no easy fighters there. Again it will come down to focus and tactics, if Danielle fully focuses; frustrates Alexis into making a mistake as I'd be training her to do, then counter the smaller fighter to end it, then she has a chance; if her fatal flaw of losing focus happens, expect a quick finish. One thing is for sure; derby style fights are not a sure thing and this might be the upset of the year, I just don't think it will be.

Final part: recap of last year (October to December)This is our final part of our recap; starting in October, we saw Marion Cotillard get beaten by Clara Morgane in a BBU French bantamweight title fight. Before we saw Ola Jordan give her fellow professional dancer Katya a warm welcome to the sport of boxing, she beat up her rival in a hard hitting bout between the two women. That months PPV was massive for welterweight fighters; with the title tournaments last 8 fighters going at it, Alex Gerrard, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls and Jaye Jacobs all advanced to the semi finals. The semi final took place in November; with Alex Gerrard going down to the hard hitting Jourdan Dunn, who will fight friend Joan Smalls at this months PPV, as her fellow model defeated Jaye Jacobs for the second time with much more ease then there first go around. November also saw Elodie Frege surprise Clara Morgane and get revenge for losing the BBU bantamweight title, regaining it in that fight must have felt like heaven for her. Back to the PPV; the BBU JMD title was defended for the first time, Rosie Jones beat challenger Harumi Nemoto in a battle of nations, Rosie not being top scared by her opponent apart from a small spell through the middle of the fight, expect the champ to defend her title again before long. December saw two big cards, one was headlined by a battle of Geordie's for the BBU flyweight title, Cheryl Cole got revenge against Jade Thirlwall to continue her domination of the division. While the BBU PPV that month saw Alessandra Ambrosio retain her lightweight title over Rebecca Hall, while Hayley Atwell to a thunderous roar I might add, dethroned Holly Willoughby of her BBU JMDD title. So that is how the year ended and what has shaped this years up and coming fights, expect more big fights, more bitter enemies wanting to settle feuds and more upsets as history continues to be made. But that is the end of our show, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who had took the time to read these posts and I hope to see you guys next Sunday.
