Tom Hilton:Hello ladies and gentlemen; what an action packed week we have had, the latest PPV is up, if you haven't seen it; what have you been up too. As always we will discuss four bouts from the PPV and we will start today's show by discussing the historic BBU welterweight title fight between Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls, the vacant title found a new home, whose waist was it though? Then we will talk about the bantamweight title fight, Helen Flanagan looked to take the title from the French star and champ Lea Seydoux. Third on today's is Tiffany Mulheron and Mikie Hara's battle, two former flyweight champions look to claim the comeback queen title as they look to return to dominate the division again. Finally, we will talk about the Alexis Ren vs Danielle Robertson, the stable derby fight as the sister stables the Vixens and Sirens did battle through these two. Just quick news, remember to vote on the Golden Gloves poll between Emma Watson and Emilia Clarke if you haven't already, that poll shuts Wednesday morning when the result is announced.

Part 1: Welterweight title fight The last welterweight champion in the BBU was Erica Haynatz, she vacated the title on the 28th March 2015, with the title being put up for grabs in 2016 and only now finding a home due to scheduling issues with the fighters, rumours that fighters were arguing over money, some claiming they deserve a bigger cut of the prize pots each round, etc.
So it certainly wasn't smooth sailing, but we finally got two fighters who had well and truly earned their spot in the final for the belt, Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls had run the table and only the other stood in their way.
Jourdan had beaten hall of famer Sabrina Washington, Catherine Tyldesley and Alex Gerrard, while Joan beat Sophie Howard, Karen Gillan and Jaye Jacobs on her way.
The big question running through pundits circles were would these two friends go all out to win or would the hold back?
We got an answer straight away as the early punches were certainly not love taps, these girls wanted the other to know the weapons they carry.
But Jourdan looked shocking surprised by the power of Joan, maybe she didn't watch tap of her friend or they've never been in a gym together because these are two powerhouses and Dunn couldn't take the early heat from her Latin opponent.
She did start to win rounds as she showed she can out box Joan through the middle part of the fight, leading to some fans jeering which I thought was stupid, yes I admit I expected these two big proud women just to tear away, hell maybe even the gloves to come off, but Jourdan showed her impressive hand speed for a woman her size and flexibility is astounding.
Dunn though couldn't take the raw aggression from her bestie though and by round 4; she was put down by a brutal uppercut but showed her toughness to beat the count.
The writing was on the wall and the next round saw a clubbing left hook knock out Jourdan, meaning we have a champion in Joan Smalls.
First I want to say; Jourdan will be a champion someday, she has all the tools but it could have been multiple why she seemed undercooked here, next time she gets this chance I'm betting she won't.
On to the champion; well she certainly earned it the hard way and looks to continue the trend if my girl Denise Van Outen is right, Melissa Satta and Petra Nemcova look set to fight to a finish for a shot at the big gold belt.
The champion also made the statement that the Girls Friday stable is the dominant force around here, they have the lightweight title and now the welterweight yes, they also did hold the BBU JMDD title, but there are plenty of stables that will be looking to shove those comments down her and her stablemates throats, as that's not the smartest move you can make.
Could a stable war come out of this, time will time folks!

Part 2: BBU bantamweight title:Last year was simply Lea Seydoux's year when you spoke of bantamweight fighters, she hammered Una Healy to claim the title, beating Fluer East and finishing her year by battering Elodie Frege. While last year wasn't her best year but she'd clearly caught someone's eyes and she found herself in the title fight against the always tough champion. The fight saw both fighters enter with cocky looks on their faces, both confident they could conquer the other with their speed and power. The opening round though saw Lea take the early lead in what was a good opening stanza from both, Helen's height though proved an early problem as the champion stuck to the outside. But as the fight wore on; questions about the champions focus was being asked as Helen started to find ways to cut her way inside and targeted the body of Lea to try and chop her down to size. The crowd as the fight continued looked a little surprised, the all conquering champion while still managed to hurt Helen with some vicious shots, Helen looked to be getting stronger though as the fight wore on. An uppercut in the fourth should have been a warning to Lea; she'd get caught with another uppercut later in the fight that rocked her and one in the seventh ended the fight for the French stunner! Helen upsetting the odds in many peoples eyes, finally breaking through the skill level it seems people like myself have to admit had for her, she deserved the title as anyone did beating Lea but her name still is a surprise right now. While Lea understandably was upset, she lost the gold she held for nigh on a year and was a great champion, but every silver lining as they say as she heads to America to fight for the FCBA flyweight title against a woman she has beaten in Megan Fox. The ironic thing is that many a BBU fighter will be hoping she crosses over to America and wins the gold to create history, becoming the first BBU/FCBA fighter to hold a title in both organizations would be awesome, of course if it was the same division would make it perfect but seriously this could be truly career defining. Even Helen might cheer her, though she had her own worries to sort out it seems, picking a title challenger is one, with Alesha Dixon and Elodie Frege both making cases, though their records lately might make that a stretch currently, give it a month or two though as things change fast, I mean just take this result as proof.

Part 3: Tiffany Mulheron vs Mikie Hara To think this is a fight that would have been a main event in the past, now though they are both looking to recapture that glory.
While these two haven't fought before; Mikie has defeated Tiffany's sister Ashley over 3 years ago, maybe that was on Tiffany's mind when this fight was made, though there looked to be plenty of respect for both as they spoke before the fight.
The fight itself saw both aim predominantly for the body in the early, clearly wanting to wear the other out early, Tiffany though found a cracking left up top to take control of the round.
Mikie though just absolutely ripped into Tiffany in round 2, it was like the sleeping giant had awoken as she beat Tiffany up with uppercuts finding their way through too many times for my liking.
As this cracking fight continued; back and forth went the action, Tiffany landing cleaner punches when she worked more on the outside, while Mikie was deadly on the inside.
An uppercut though again opened up Tiffany in Round 5, leading to a left putting down the Scottish fighter, fans wondered if it was over as Tiffany looked badly shook up.
But as round 6 begun, Mikie couldn't find the off switch, Tiffany shown toughness to really keep going at her Japanese opponent.
A vicious right catch Mikie flush on her chin, following with several more to switch Hara's lights out and Mikie didn't beat the count.
You can ask if Mikie's ring rust stopped her from finishing the fight; but Tiffany only had 1 round against Stephanie Davis in her return fight remember, so she was hardly not rusty either.
I want to applaud both and I hope that once they are fully back in ring shape that they can find time to fight again, of course they both have work to do to get to that stage.
For Tiffany, she will be back in action on Monday 12th February against Jenna Louise Coleman, so the tough fights continue for her soon.
Mikie meanwhile will probably go with an easier test next time to shake more ring rust off, before stepping back up to this level again.

Final Part: Alexis Ren vs Danielle RobertsonLet's be honest; we all love a good rivalry, derbies are what we love the most and while technically this isn't a derby, considering they are owned by the same owner, well these two badly wanted a win to prove they are in the alpha stable and are the better woman. The fight saw the girls start surprisingly to some in a cagey manner, especially as they had brawled at the press conference, looking utterly focused on the task in front of them. Danielle though surprised the crowd as she used her raw power to knock Alexis around, with the lithe blonde trying to use her boxing skills to out work her. But the stronger fighter harassed Ren; keeping her on the back foot with her shots slamming through to the face of Alexis to rock it back. By round 6; Alexis tried to bullrush Danielle, big mistake as she got torn apart by the power of Danielle, smashed back to the ropes rocked and down she went with the referee stopping the fight. Some complained that the fight was stopped too early, well she didn't put up much of a fight to be honest so I expect the fight would have been stopped anyway. As the Anllela Sagra fight showed, Alexis struggles clearly against this type of fighter, my advice would be to get Danielle to spar with her but since the stables hate each other and these two definitely do, that won't be happening. Before anyone points it out to me, yes I said it would be an upset if Danielle won and Lord knows this might be the biggest upset of the year due to the manner of such a win. I hope Danielle uses this fight to finally step up in her career, while I have been down on her so far, it's because when you have the physical presence this woman does but the skills not to do so. This fight was a major win though and she did show the skills that she has lacked, so this could be the yes moment for her, where everything has finally clicked, we'll see soon I hope. Right that's the end of today's episode, I hope it was fun thank you to everyone who took the time to read this and we'll be back next Sunday.
