Elodie Yung vs Laura Chiatti (2-0, 2 KO vs 1-0, 1 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Elodie Yung smoked both Eva Green and Tamaryn Payne last fall but that still isn't enough to elevate her into serious contention above fellow French girls Clara Morgane and Elodie Frege both whom have a massive experience advantage over the exotic brunette. The same problem affects Laura Chiatti who couldn't convert her FCBA opportunity into an extended career with the Latin Union and is forced to navigate the difficult path of free agency these days. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson hopes this classic blonde vs brunette rivalry provides enough spark to light up tonight's undercard and the Cardiff Arena audience shares a similar view judging by the noise level inside the building. Elodie Yung wears a navy blue bikini set and silver gloves. Long black hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. Laura Chiatti wears a yellow bikini top, brown panties and brown gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. Round 1: Elodie simply wants it more during the early stages and begins to stalk the blonde with quick jabs that force Laura into repeated circles. However the Italian fails to embrace the rush and engages in a proper slugfest that rocks her head back and fuels Yung's work rate. The French actress carries on with the head-hunting attack until she traps the sluggish blonde on the ropes where she switches low to dissect the midriff adding more pressure on the fellow free agent. Laura just can't punch herself out of trouble and eats a belting hook on the liver area to wobble into instant spasms right at the bell. Round 2: Georgie Thompson praises Yung's high-octane attack that splits Chiatti's mitts repeatedly in the second round however a big overhand catches her on the jaw and allows the embattled blonde to land some proper juice that forces the brunette into a brief escape. Laura looks satisfied with the separation and fails to push for more attack which proves to be a bad decision since Elodie quickly resumes her aggressive approach and keeps bombing away at the slow-moving opponent. Laura tries to smack her foe with a shot on the liver but drops her right hand too low and eats a vicious hook on the nose that wobbles her into the corner where Yung digs more leather straight up the middle to bury the younger woman into a tight earmuff. She lays it into the subdued Chiatti until the bell finally forces a break. Round 3: Laura shakes her head during the interval and she's truly getting outworked here by the exotic beauty; Elodie rushes into another jabbing assault that rattles the Italian's high guard and leaves her yielding real estate in a hurry. However Yung cracks a nasty piledriver on the nose that wobbles Laura on her heels and she just can't escape the follow up anymore... a quick strike pierces the solar plexus before a swift uppercut connects with the jaw AND DROPS CHIATTI ONTO HER KNEES!!! Ugh! That was too easy according to Georgie in the booth even though the proud blonde doesn't seem hurt much. She gets up at seven and rallies into a hectic recovery that finds nothing but a stubborn French guard. Elodie regains control come the final minute and thumps more hooks upstairs to reel her opponent into the corner one more time where she hauls in vicious blows to the exposed ribcage. Laura shakes her head again and surveys around the audience with that hollow look in her eyes. Round 4: Elodie pounces on the subdued blonde with another jabbing frenzy that drops the guard invitingly low before a cross hook on the mouth half-spins Chiatti onto her heels. She tries to swing an overhand but the brunette beats her for pace and slams one on the ear that sinks Laura into a loud whimper. And Elodie turns from the hip next to fire the classic haymaker that lands straight on the nose AND DROPS THE BLONDE FACE-DOWN on the canvas!!! Huh! That was a nasty one and poor Laura has had enough of this. She doesn't make an effort to get up anymore so the ref waves it off prematurely. Wicked KO4 Elodie Yung!!! AFTER: Real View's Tom Hilton might argue against the exotic brunette here but Georgie Thompson thinks we have a new sherriff in town and Elodie Frege might not be the best Elodie in BBU anymore. Not after getting banged up in the FCBA so often. Clara Morgane might be focused on dragging Dorota Rabczewska's soul on Daily Mail's front page but she might be advised to take a look around her shoulder next. However Yung keeps it low-profile during the post-fight ceremonies and dismisses the idea of fighting Marion Cotillard soon with the classic "no comment" response. Perhaps she'd be more vocal in the Main Event spotlight but the Cardiff Arena still looks very pleased with a whirlwind KO on the undercard opener. Georgie Thompson hopes to see more of this girl in the future and Vera Brezhneva proved you don't have to be 25 years old on your debut to make a proper run at the divisional title already. Final result: Elodie Yung def. Laura Chiatti KO4.

Jessica Michibata vs Nabilla Benattia (Girls Friday vs BBU Independent) (5-2, 5 KO vs 1-2, 1 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: The rumours of Dua Lipa joining the Girls Friday crew simply won't go away and Jessica Michibata hopes to avoid a repeat of stablemate Monika Pietrasinska's failed attempt of brawling herself back into elite contention. The Japanese model has remained on the shelf following a defeat to Sophie Turner last September but she vows not to waste time on a mere "stay busy" fight and goes straight up against Nabilla Benattia who destroyed the aforementioned Pietrasinska on the season-ending Boxing Day PPV. That victory set up a JMDD title shot which proved too much for the French beauty but she's happy to make her bow in standard boxing rules tonight if only to put more pressure on the Girls Friday lightweight corps. Jessica Michibata wears a black bikini set and red gloves. Long dark brown hair straight. Nabilla Benattia wears a navy blue bikini top, white hotpants and red gloves. Long raven-black hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division. Round 1: All three of Nabilla's fights were held under JMDD rules and she quickly restores that order punching straight into Michibata's otherwise smaller rack. Ugh! Coach Lauren Berlingeri must have seen this coming but it's still too much for the Japanese model who gets rocked by the fellow brunette's ruthless attack and wobbles onto her heels which only fuels Nabilla's work rate. She easily outworks the older woman and when she begins to stack up punches into her face then it's panic alert in the Girls Friday corner. Jessica tries to escape the close range heat but fails to match the French girl's intensity and agility which leads into Benattia trapping her in the corner and landing more crisp punches through the leaky guard. Round 2: Ugh! It's like a Pietrasinska deja-vu here for coach Berlingeri as Nabilla simply enforces her presence in the ring and beats the Japanese model for both pace and precision. She rocks her head back with immediate leather storm that caves Michibata in however Nabilla quickly switches downstairs to punish her foe below the elbows. My oh my, that Sophie Turner loss must have wrecked Jessica's confidence since she allows the French brunette to bully her around the ring wholesale and she ends up trapped on the ropes again with Nabilla looking to punish her rack on the double albeit coming up short. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson reckons that if strict JMDD rules were enforced here then Michibata would be sucking the boards already! Round 3: There's little stopping Nabilla here again until she gets caught with a juicy uppercut that opens the door for more Japanese attack. Jessica barks in her efforts to finally make her presence count and she smacks the younger girl's ponytail around to drop her on the heels before a cracking hook finds the right temple and wobbles Benattia onto the ropes. She fails to avoid the incoming rush and eats a left/right combo on the lips that begin to swell down the stretch. Michibata works on speed dial to maintain the dominant position and even though some of her shots bounce off the guard, she keeps the Frenchwoman under control and signs off a stunning recovery with a belting shot on the navel that bends the fellow brunette in half with a loud whimper right at the bell. Round 4: Coach Berlingeri thinks Jessica's right back in the groove now and orders a full-scale attack however Nabilla goes on a recovery rampage herself so both women tangle in the center of the ring with ferocious intensity and actually clash heads before a meaningful punch can sink either of them. Nabilla finds her momentum first and WHACKS the lingerie model straight up to crush the jaw and make Michibata gurgle... a swift follow up catches her below the left elbow and sinks into more spasms as Benattia then riffles another nasty hook on the nose TO SEND THE JAPANESE WOMAN TUMBLING DOWN on the canvas!!! Whoa! The Cardiff Arena audience roars in delight in wake of such a fast-paced combo alas it's disaster for the Girls Friday as Michibata looks HURT even after getting up at eight. Nabilla is ready to unleash the Maghreb demons and pounces on the unstable opponent who fails to adjust her guard for another frantic run. And Benattia simply destroys Jessica's defense pounding away in fury and cutting her up above the left eye while the older brunette gets reeled onto the ropes and can't defend herself anymore. She reverts into more painful spasms and is threatened with a proper facial surgery until the ref finally feels like he needs to protect her from the French wrath. HE STEPS IN TO STOP THE FIGHT and the brunette free agent still isn't happy about it!!! TKO4 Nabilla Benattia!!! AFTER: Jessica collapses in a heap in the corner and Eva Carneiro is required into immediate duty while coach Berlingeri tries to slap the French winner with a knotted towel. Ugh! She misses the target and has Nabilla twerking her mounds in joy instead. Security crew quickly separates the two women while Georgie Thompson believes Lauren should consider her coaching plan here rather than swing at a clearly superior woman. That's two ouf of two for Nabilla versus the Girls Friday crew as Jessica Michibata joins Monika Pietrasinska on the unofficial expendable list according to ever-increasing rumours. With Dua Lipa scheduled to make her next outing at the upcoming BBU PPV, the future truly looks bleak for both these models now. Meanwhile Nabilla has emerged as a dangerous free agency floater following a tough debut against Chloe Khan last summer. She didn't really need to follow the JMDD tactics pillar-to-post here tonight and should be really proud of her performance that puts more pressure on the likes of Laury Thilleman or Berenice Marlohe when it comes to the national market. Her English remains a little raw so BBU TV declines an interview opportunity however watch out for Nabilla's Instragram account this week where plenty of action shots are guaranteed to be posted! Final result: Nabilla Benattia def. Jessica Michibata TKO4.

Helena Mattsson vs Elisabetta Canalis (Lookout! Atlantic Boxing vs BBU Independent) (12-10, 7 KO vs 6-8, 5 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Helena Mattsson might have drifted off the BBU elite radar over the past several months but she's finally ready to make her comeback especially that stablemate Gal Gadot no longer holds her lightweight title ambitions hostage anymore. The sultry blonde dismissed the idea of fighting a lesser opponent on her return and Elisabetta Canalis fills a proper Main Event demand now that she seems focused on her BBU career as well. The brunette stunner flirted with FCBA for a while but now that compatriot Elisabetta Gregoraci is widely considered as top Italian entry in the 130 lbs division, this thing called jealousy suddenly becomes pivotal in Canalis' career path. Even a recent loss to a high-profile prospect Dua Lipa doesn't affect her confidence and she vows to "beat the blonde bimbo up!" tonight. Helena Mattsson wears a light blue bikini set and yellow gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Elisabetta Canalis wears a black bikini set and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a similar sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division. Round 1: Both women hold nothing back in the early stages but only single punches connect with the flesh so the intensity doesn't suffer much in the proccess. Helena becomes almost too predictable with her head-hunting assault and gets caught out when the brunette switches downstairs to punish her ribcage. However she soaks up the experience and remains committed to the high-octane attack that begins to take it's toll on Canalis come the final minute. The Italian loses her footing when she eats a nasty hook on the jaw and is the first one to blink seeking respite in mid-distance. Mattsson doesn't pounce on this opportunity though so both women circle around each other for remainder of the round. Round 2: Another quick jabbing drill marks the opening period of the second round but Elisabetta becomes more successful with her punching now and knocks the blonde's head back repeatedly when she connects with the initial double. Helena misfires over the top and bounces off the brunette's shoulders before getting thumped on her heels as the Italian unloads more pressure. She slams a left/right combo on the temples and clips the blonde's jugs which forces Mattsson into a clinch but a steady drive on the ribs knocks her back the ropes anyway. Helena can't escape the phone booth trouble and soaks up more heat on the midsection that leaves Lookout! Atlantic manager Nicole Richie yelling in anger at the bell. Round 3: Elisabetta's confident approach allows her to outwork the equally committed Swede in another close range tangle and now the punches begin to stack up on the latter's face which ignites more delight into the Cardiff Arena audience. Despite getting picked off up the middle Helena refuses to step away from the punishing ordeal and gets thumped to the ropes down the stretch as the Italian keeps raining punches and even gets vocal when her opponent scowls in pain. Ugh! A nasty hook tears a small cut across the nasal ridge that caves Mattsson behind a tight earmuff however Canalis promptly switches her attacks and digs more juice below the elbows leaving the younger woman in serious trouble come the bell. Round 4: Helena tries to hang back in mid-distance but fails to dominate the footwork battle and Elisabetta still connects with some meaningful single punches. She hassles the retreating Swede around the ring however becomes a little tired during the energetic pursuit and allows Mattsson to mount a sudden comeback when the model apparently thinks better off it. Georgie Thompson believes Elisabetta's subpar mobility should be exposed but her attacking plan has kept the blonde on the back foot and she still clinches the brunette instead of perhaps lashing out at her in full swing. The stalemate is somehow approved by the referee and Nicole Richie seems equally satisfied with her protegee escaping further damage. Rounds 5 & 6: Elisabetta tries to maintain the aggressive dominance but the Lookout! Atlantic entourage finally enables Helena to channel a back-up plan that has her swinging aerial attack in mid-distance. Georgie Thompson questions the pure execution but at least it stalls the brunette's progress even though the scorecards need a stronger boost and Helena's lenghty lay-off period becomes more evident to justify her woes. She still cracks several promising single punches but Canalis' guard blocks most of them off and we're heading into the second half of this fight with more questions than answers. Even a late push from Mattsson in the sixth fails to throw Elisabetta off her stride as she clinches the younger woman and almost wrestles her to the ground while seething at her in native tongue. Nicole Richie briefly loses her temper in the corner but still urges Helena to stick to the back-up plan for the time being. Rounds 7 & 8: Perhaps Helena wants to physically wear the model out which is a dangerous idea especially that Dua Lipa dismissed Canalis pretty easily last time around. However the Italian's punches carry significantly less power as time passes by which allows the blonde to rally back into contention through successful counter-punching effort. Unmoved by the bloody cut across her nose, Helena keeps digging leather up the middle while Elisabetta struggles to position herself around these strikes and gets clobbered into the corner in both seventh & eighth. She swings back from behind the guard but can't catch her opponent on the fly anymore and eats plenty in response that leaves her visibly bruised at the bell. The competitive spark in her eye remains the same but her chest is pumping up & down while the Swedish actress looks in much better shape over in the opposite corner. Round 9: Canalis tries to protect her alleged lead on the scorecards but eats a brutal hook on the jaw during the initial tangle and Helena quickly turns it from the hip to smack a nasty follow up in the same spot. Ugh! The brunette's legs wobble in that familiar fashion and she tries to wrap herself around her foe only to fall into another crunching shot on the vulnerable jaw again... Uh-oh... DOWN SHE GOES!!! The proud Italian collapses at the blonde's feet in jack-knife manner and the Cardiff Arena crowd errupts in it's loudest roar of the night yet!!! Cue in a shaking glove and Mattsson's smiling at Nicole Richie already! However Elisabetta's not ready to concede defeat and bravely gets up at eight. She remains glued to her spot though and finds no reserve to fend off another Swedish assault. Helena rips right through her high guard and smacks her lips into additional swelling, reeling the statesque brunette back to the ropes where she hauls in more vicious punches rendering Canalis into a moaning hot mess. Referee takes his time here even when the model's gloves collapse so Mattsson has a clear path at knocking her out which she does within the next few seconds. CANALIS SLIDES DOWN WITH HER EYES CLOSED and it's all OVER!!! KO9 Helena Mattsson in come-from-behind fashion!!! AFTER: Even Georgie Thompson is stunned by the nature of Helena's comeback but the dangerous tactical plan has actually worked for the Lookout! blonde. No wonder she celebrates like she's won a divisional title here, lifting Nicole Richie up in the air. The rise of Gal Gadot has hijacked her title ambitions and with Georgia Salpa also making some noise lately, it's still too early to say whether Mattsson can finally reach the ultimate top. However this gruesome victorious battle surely can't harm her plans allthough Elisabetta Canalis basically let her off the hook at one stage. The proud Italian remains down in the corner for a long time and Georgie Thompson believes she didn't punish Helena enough during her dominant spell to prevent a late recovery. Dua Lipa has removed chunks of her resistance and Mattsson proved simply too much when given the opportunity. It doesn't change the fact Canalis was marginally ahead on the scorecards when she got knocked out so there's still hope for the sultry model she can throw a wrench into Elisabetta Gregoraci's conquest sooner or later! That seems to be her main goal according to BBU TV. Final result: Helena Mattsson def. Elisabetta Canalis KO9.

Well done girl! Ahem... some of you anyway! I've fought Eliabetta and Helena before but both Jessica and Nabilla need to learn I'm still the superior woman! Blondes simply do it better!
