Nadine Coyle vs Hannah Tointon (Lioness Club vs Double A Boxing) (7-18, 6 KO vs 1-7, 1 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Nadine Coyle celebrated her 33rd birthday yesterday and there's only one present she wants here tonight, a WIN over Hannah Tointon. Guest BBU TV announcer Christine Bleakley reports that Nadine's recent period of inactivity is a direct result of former bandmate Cheryl Cole's rise to the FCBA stardom and Nads simply "can't stand that Geordie bytch anymore". On the other hand we have Hannah Tointon who's been so lacklustre during her BBU spell that many experts wonder why she's retained her spot on the Double A roster for so long. She's got older sister Kara acting as personal coach ringside here in Dublin and Coyle's lenghty spell on the sidelines gives the siblings every reason to eye a stunning upset of Irish hopes next! Nadine Coyle wears a black bikini set and green gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Hannah Tointon wears a light blue bikini set and white gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. Rounds 1 & 2: Both girls take a while to get going and even the rampant crowd response doesn't ignite many fireworks in the early stages. Nadine used to be widely dismissed as a genuine jobber at the start of her BBU career and she finds it little awkward to channel the favorite status which in turn allows Hannah to settle in with single punches however there's a clear lack of raw power available and both Kara Tointon and Mel B. are forced to adjust the tactics in order to break out the full potential out there in the ring. Coyle finally mounts a proper hookig combo early in the second to rattle the blonde around yet she fails to add to the aggressive display and gets countered over the top as Hannah barks in her otherwise half-hearted efforts to stick her foot in the Irish door. She eats a wild hook on the temple thereafter and slides back into mid-range; Coyle ups the work rate in response but cuts thin air and coach Mel B. sounds visibly dejected during the interval since there's so much rust around the Irish singer it's actually hard to watch thus far. Round 3: Tointon gambles on a point-blank range assault and riffles a cross on the singer's nose to finally inject some aggression into this snoozer but she regrets it down the stretch as Nadine outworks her come the second minute and begins to stack up the punches herself. A head-hunting series splits the blonde's guard and it's almost suicidal from Hannah to pursue the slugging war of attrition but she trips over her own feet and has to accept Coyle's terms during a feisty exchange that increases the partisan Irish support around the arena. Hannah cracks a good left hook on the brunette's nose but eats immediate overhand and sinks on her heels when Nads doubles straight up and connects with her chin. Ugh! That high guard isn't getting any better and Hannah yields real estate thereafter with the singer chasing her around in somewhat amusing fashion. Older sister Kara is furious and the Lioness camp seems to have broken the deadlock a bit here. Round 4: Nadine turns from the hip early and destroys that high guard with Hannah unable to live with the close range heat again. She swings several times from the back foot but gets bullied around the ring and sinks into spasms when Coyle pierces her solar plexus with a quick switch of targets. The Irish assault then camps down around the ribcage and stuns the blonde into more spasms while the work rate only increases in the proccess. Nads yells out in delight when she rattles the cumbersome foe back to the ropes and scythes her across the nose to dump her into a desperate earmuff come the final stretch. If only she displayed more core strenght here! Alas she settles into working the blonde over along the ropes and it's party time in the stands during the interval. Round 5: Tointon just won't slug it out herself and gets wrapped in another head-hunting misery with Coyle thumping her numerous times and lowering that leaky guard inch by inch. Hannah cries out when she gets belted on the liver area but she can't even lock a clinch here and gets spun backwards when the dark-haired singer nails her on the chin. Ugh! Hannah bellows out on the ropes and eats a brutal left hook on the nose one more time that cuts her up on the spot and results in a flurry of punches rocking the blonde hair around... Uh-oh!!! Hannah's yelps are getting louder and louder as she gets creamed into a standstill before Nads finds the uppercut on the jaw THAT FINALLY PUTS TOINTON DOWN ON HER KNEES!!! Mel B. punches the air in delight over in the Lioness corner and poor Hannah seems more concerned about that cut across her nasal ridge than anything else. She gets up at seven but remains glued to the spot and Coyle simply tears into her again raining punches all over the subdued girl!!! Hannah can't live with this assault whatsoever and leans across the turnbuckle to soak up more damage. Kara Tointon refuses to throw in the towel but the referee minds his own business and JUMPS IN to prevent a potential blood spillage here. Poor Hannah offered nothing back ever since the knockdown and she's on the verge of a tearful collapse as she runs out of the ring literally seconds after the fight is merficully stopped. Irish rust on display but it's TKO5 Nadine Coyle!!! AFTER: This was a case of Hannah Tointon simply unable to do anything once Nadine found her groove but several other girls would have smoked the Ulster stunner well inside the opening couple of rounds according to Christine Bleakley. There was nothing to write home about that performance but credit goes to the Lioness brass for booking such a winnable match-up. The Cheryl Cole feud not withstanding, Nadine must improve on her boxing skills or else she won't receive many BBU-themed birthday presents in the future. She's got enough experience to do better than that! Final result: Nadine Coyle def. Hannah Tointon TKO5.

Laura Whitmore vs Kimberley Walsh (Frankie's Foxes vs Lioness Club) (2-4, 2 KO vs 10-17, 10 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Allthough Laura Whitmore has signed with the Foxes earlier this season, she remains a questionable prospect according to several England-based pundits. Guest BBU TV announcer Christine Bleakley prefers to focus on her Lioness stablemate Kimberley Walsh instead but Laura has the Dublin audience firmly in her wins and her recent victory over Leilani Dowding has sparked renewed interest in the Irish bantamweigt picture that relied on Una Healy's services far too long. On the other hand Walsh hasn't enjoyed much success lately herself and while she's one of the most popular girls around the league, she's not exactly threatening to spoil the Irish party here. Laura's boss Frankie Coccoza claims that Kimba is a "lousy c###sucker" and that comment alone ignites extra beef between the two girls alas Laura still vows to "f#ck that cow up and make the Real View staff eat some crow really soon!" Laura Whitmore wears a green bikini set and yellow gloves. Long blonde hair loose & straight. Kimberley Walsh wears a red crop top, white hotpants and red gloves. Long light brown hair wrapped in a thick bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. Round 1: Kimberley's the one who does the early stalking as Laura prefers to work her shots from behind the guard but she barely connects and the singer cashes in with a spirited display that forces the blonde into mid-range safety. Kimberley's not the fastest of fighters across the boards but she neutralizes the local woman and lands a couple of promising hooks to snap that blonde hair around and maintain her aggressive approach as seconds tick by. Laura tries to mount a late comeback but bounces off the singer's guard too often and gets caught into a close range frenzy during the final stretch as Walsh digs her mitts straight up the middle to find more head-hunting success in the process. Round 2: The singer's aggressive approach allows her to outwork the blonde in close range again but this time Laura decides to jump on the slugging rout which snaps Kimberley's head back even though the older woman eventually stays on top of the exchange. She leans on the Irish foe and switches downstairs for a promising harpoon drill below the elbows that Whitmore wasn't ready for and barges her towards the ropes. Laura sidesteps from the trap but is forced to work from the back foot and Walsh just keeps coming back at her. However her precision falters come the final minute and the fast-moving blonde escapes further trouble before the bell halts the English prowl. Round 3: The Aviva Stadium audience wants to see more aggression from the local girl but Kimberley sucks the air out of these hopes when she rattles the younger opponent with a nasty hooking combo that trembles Whitmore onto jelly knees early in the third. Ugh! A fine left hook on the nose sinks Laura into immediate trouble and she fails to clinch the charging singer which means she gets pounded back to the ropes on speed dial and wilts under the subsequent pressure. Lioness coach Mel B. is loudest person ringside but Kimberley gets vocal as well as she buries the local favorite behind a jabbing flurry and stacks her up with another belting strike on the liver area. Ugh! Laura weaves around on her feet but fails to escape the English heat and when she tries to swing one from behind the guard, Walsh spikes her on the liver area again before a right overhand slams the subdued woman on the lips AND SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN in the corner! Whoa! Laura really stopped that with her face and finds herself sucking the canvas on the two minute mark. She takes the standard eight count and Christine Bleakley thinks that was a tactical decision but Kimba's all over her within seconds and prepares to blow her away here... Laura shrieks out as she fends off the looming diaster and manages to clinch the Girls Aloud veteran but the Dublin audience remains muted in response and Walsh bumps shoulders with her foe after the bell: "Forget it, cow! U R going down here!" Round 4: It's been a while since we've seen Kimberley is such a fine form but she profited from Whitmore's half-hearted aproach and there are more aerial punches stalking the Irish guard early in the fourth, the Foxes plan is clear though, Laura stays on top of the mobility display and makes the singer barely graze her flesh which frustrates the heck out of coach Mel B. However Laura seems satisfied with a spell of mid-distance respite even though she basically defaults the round on points. Kimba's experience finally tells her to abandon the hectic pursuit and she's build a big enough lead not to bother with a fancy KO blast... for the time being. The Irish fans are upset enough already and a massive jeering salute marks the end of this round with coach Mel B. trying to keep the singer composed over in the Lioness corner. Round 5: Foxes' interim coach Kelly Rowland tells Laura to show more urgency here as Kimba can be lured into a false sense of security but the action remains on the slow side during the opening minute of the fifth. It's like the Girls Aloud babe wants to set up a trap herself but Laura doesn't fall for it until she finally lashes out with a hooking deke and finds the left brow ridge to upset the brunette's plans. Ugh! Kimba eats more punches over the top as Whitmore moves into close range and clips her jaw several times with the singer suddenly drifting onto her heels. She's unable to pounce from the front anymore and winces in pain when Laura bangs a proper series into her cleavage. A follow up on the liver area bends the older woman into noticeable yelps and Laura rallies during the final stretch to pound her rival butt-in-ropes where she delivers more good shots below the elbows to neutralize the hitherto dominant woman behind a tight earmuff. Round 6: Kimba wants to resume the early success but even her dancing past doesn't allow her to match the blonde's agility at this stage of the fight. She's one of the most experienced woman around the league but Laura has more juice in the tank and she outworks the aggressive Bradford lass to the point she rocks her head back repeatedly before belting her across the ribcage. Ugh! Kimba remains glued to the spot following that series and fails to punch herself out of trouble; Whitmore beats her for another overhand and thumps towards the ropes during a one-sided display of Irish wrath. Even Frankie Cocozza gets vocal here as the Aviva Stadium comes alive again with Walsh yelping her troubles out. She lands a couple of hooks on the blonde's face but soaks up too much in reply and ends another round buried behind a desperate earmuff with Whitmore piling more pressure along the ropes. Round 7: Walsh looks worn out now and Whitmore takes full advanatge of that bulldozing her way through a stubborn English defense. Kimba tries to slam dunk herself back into a dominant position but she lacks speed and gets beaten for every punch here as she sinks deeper on her knees. Laura clips her jugs to further boost her assault and finally wraps the older woman into a thumping barrage from both flanks that drills the temples AND SENDS THE TIRING SINGER DOWN ONTO HER KNEES!!! That's what the doctor ordered for all ye Irish hopes and the Aviva Stadium errupts in joy as Kimba struggles to embrace the evident disaster. She also takes a standard eight count but there's nothing tactical about it and she remains glued to the spot when the fight resumes. The man in charge seemingly wants to help the blonde's cause here and wastes no time in giving the signal which spells more trouble for the Girls Aloud veteran. It's time for Kimba to stop the punches with her face as Laura goes all in and runs riot to snap the singer's head back & forth until she pummels her back to the ropes and maintains the high-octane pressure. Ugh! It's simply too much for Walsh now as she hasn't recovered from the knockdown whatsover and gets battered into stupor come the two minute mark. No bell is gonna save her and Whitmore sends her to the point of no return when she pierces the solar plexus amid more vicious delivery. The gloves eventually slide down by the singer's waist and she gets knocked out of her senses on her feet. Laura might struggle to find that haymaker punch but she enjoys the home court advantage and the REF STEPS IN to drag her away with Kimberley mumbling her demise in semi-conscious fashion. Lioness coach Mel B. is furious about the decision but that's all she can do here. TKO7 Laura Whitmore!!! AFTER: There will be more questions surrounding this Irish victory as Laura found it very tough to impose her presence against a wiley veteran but a win is a win and that's all that matters tonight. Christine Bleakley hopes the fellow presenter avoids Frankie Cocozza's special treatment as she needs to work her pretty ass over in the gym rather than the bedroom and this one really took it's toll on the blonde vixen. She still gives Kimberley a walk of shame but it' cut short when Mel B. threatens to tackle her from behind and engage in a verbal dispute with the Foxes entourage. It's been another "close but no cigar" display from Walsh who fell victim to her own physical short-comings in the end. She can't outlast majority of her rivals anymore as age and sheer wear & tear make her a vulnerable target once a fight enters the closing stages. It's either win early or bust for the Girls Aloud stunner and Christine Bleakley thinks that Nicola Roberts would be able to carry the points lead on the cards all the way to the finish. Kimba is simply a banged up gatekeeper these days but neither she nor Mel B. will admit that on national TV! Final result: Laura Whitmore def. Kimberley Walsh TKO7.

Rozanna Purcell vs Elena Santarelli (Ireland vs Italy) (2-0, 2 KO vs 4-8, 4 KO) Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: It's time for the Main Event and Rozanna Purcell simply couldn't be more excited that she was chosen ahead of Vogue Williams to headline tonight's card. The great Irish welterweight dispute remains the talk of the town in Dublin but the two elite prospects still avoid each other for the time being even though the social media tribal war is in full swing these days. However it's Roz who earns the spotlight tonight and while she's expected to maintain her winning streak alive, one shouldn't underestimate Italian veteran Elena Santarelli. Her back-to-back destruction of Peta Todd remains her calling card and while she rides a four fight losing streak, she's got that one punch KO ability in her that Roz simply's can't overlook if she plans to become another welter elite performer. Rozanna Purcell wears a green crop top, white panties with a green trim and golden gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Elena Santarelli wears a navy blue crop top, white hotpants and black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division. Round 1: Rozanna wastes little time in connecting with Elena's boobs as she channels the unorthodox route to catch her opponent off guard. Elena responds with a methodical jabbing assault but fails to apply enough power and gets outworked in close range which allows the Irish lass to sneak in with more punches to the body and stall the older woman in the center of the ring. Elena's footwork has always been an issue and she can't navigate herself around the Irish juice with Purcell improving the precision of her attacks with every second. She leaves the Italian glued to the spot and chops away at her body to the point Santarelli seems a little discouraged already. Guest BBU TV announcer Christine Bleakley openly calls the tourist a jobber here and a thumping punch that spins the embattled woman back to the ropes right at the bell doesn't really help the Italian's cause here at all. Round 2: More pouncing pressure from Roz who makes Elena look old here (Bleakley's words, mind you). She outworks the sluggish model from point-blank range and due to the fact Santarelli can hardly move around here, she gets picked off repeatedly and disappears behind a tight earmuff which forces Purcell to sting her to the body thereafter. A couple of drilling hooks find the liver area and bend the blonde into early spasms but her response only bounces off the tight Irish guard and enables Rozanna to stay on top of the action. The elite prospect then pounds the lacklustre veteran back to the ropes where Santarelli can only clinch herself int safety but still leaks more punches below the elbows and sinks with a whimper when Roz pierces her solar plexus to sign off the action. Round 3: Elena swings it over the top early in the third like she wants to cash in with a desperate haymaker here already but Rozanna dances around these efforts and counters with another stinger to the body. Elena begins to feel the heat again as she wobbles onto her heels and simply can't buy herself any space with the local girl pounding away at her like she owns the place. The Dublin crowd enjoys every second of this performance and half-way through the round one of these countless chops on the midsection bends Elena into louder spasms than usual, Roz quickly delivers the uppercut double and when the blonde's guard collapses, she has a free shot on the chin which DECKS SANTARELLI ON THE SPOT!!! "It's too frickin' easy!", Christine Bleakley tries not to laugh too much on national TV but Elena has really been exposed here by the elite talent. She beats the count at seven but it's all Roz here thereafter as she pummels the sluggish foe back to the ropes where she delivers more harpoons on the ribcage and leaves the model aching her heart out. Ugh! Purcell enters the final minute pounding away in fury and she literally chops the hapless blonde in half; Santarelli can't keep her gloves high enough anymore and gets stunned with a quick hooking switch when the former pageant winner NAILS her on the brow ridges from both flanks next... ELENA GOES DOWN AGAIN and this time she's not coming back from this anymore. KO3 Rozanna Purcell!!! AFTER: Vogue Williams is probably the only Irishwoman angry over this result but Rozanna has made it look very easy indeed in front of the full Dublin house. Christine Bleakley won't rain on her parade while throwing the Italian tourist under the bus but one of two neutral experts believe the former Miss Ireland needs to step it up against genuine gatekeepers next. "Irish Times" reports Vogue Williams is schedule to clash with Alex Gerrard later this month and while there's no denying the Roz party tonight, she's not exactly odds-on favorite to topple the dark-haired model when the time comes. However this feud and elite publicity that comes with it is exactly what the Irish BBU roster needed with Una Healy not getting any younger and Laura Whitmore earning harsh press reviews in the UK media despite signing with the Frankie's Foxes lately. Final result: Rozanna Purcell def. Elena Santarelli KO3.

Well, that was fun! But there's no way in hell I'd give up a Main Event spot to Rozanna! I hope she chokes on that result! Meanwhile I'm still the best Irish welter prospect and NOBODY takes Roz seriously! Stay tuned to see me in action really SOON!
