Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; well the past week has certainly being a busy one, what with action in Wales, England and German in the past 7 days, so as always we see reviewing the biggest fights from the week.
Starting off with the battle between Alex Gerrard and Vogue Williams, both want to be the best in the welterweight division and could be argued to be in the hunt for the title soon enough, so which one was able to win this tight contest?
Then we move on to discussing the big battle of London, Lily Allen and Vanessa White both wanted to make a statement to the other and to the flyweight champion Cheryl Cole.
Thirdly we will discuss the fight between Sarah Brandner and Danielle Miller, I won't spoil what we will be discussing but it was certainly an interesting fight to say the least.
Last but certainly not least; we talk about the JMD fight that Jordan Carver and Billie Faiers had on the undercard to Brandner vs Miller.
In quick other news, the BBU PPV is this Wednesday, after long discussions between managers and the fighters themselves, we finally have the official line up.
The two big fights are the BBU lightweight title fight between challenger Elisabetta Gregoraci and champ Alessandra Ambrosio, can the unbeaten one take the title.
While the main event sees Cheryl Cole defend her BBU flyweight title against the Contender 6 winner Tiffany Mulheron, can the comeback kid as we are calling her dethrone the pound for pound queen Cheryl?

Part 1: Vogue Williams vs Alex Gerrard It feels like Deju Vu when I say that Irish Welterweight boxing is in a good place, with Vogue Williams and Rozanne Purcell both looking to be the number 1 Irish fighter and a future BBU champion.
Well Alex Gerrard isn't one to care about reputations, she in her own right is a top fighter and in fact she got to the semi finals of the title tournament that crowned the current champion, so this was by far the biggest test in Vogue's short career.
The first round showed the tempo these two wanted to go at, a million miles an hour as they slugged it out around the ring.
As they kept that up through the early part of the fight, it seemed Vogue suited the style of the fight better as she was winning most of the exchanges, driving Alex onto the back foot.
But Alex is far from someone you can push around, using her veteran instincts to dodge Vogue's power punches, Gerrard begun to catch Williams across her face to drive her back.
A cut opened under the left eye of Vogue; this is where the fight really got interesting as we got to see Alex try to get at it to make Vogue suffer, while Vogue had to fight off the back foot.
But round 7 is where the turn came; Vogue caught across her nose that put Alex down to her side, looking close to tears as she fought her way up to her feet.
It just became a beating in round 8; Vogue pounded Alex till she collapsed on her face and that was all she wrote, with the undefeated run of Vogue continuing.
It should be noted that part of the way through the fight, a front row guest caught the eyes of the camera, Rozanne Purcell looked to be scouting and maybe steal the limelight off the fight, I think how great the fight was made that part a failure, but it has people talking more when Vogue and Rozanne will fight it out.
Vogue it has to be said is the favourite purely based on who she has fought going into a future fight with her fellow Irish fighter, though she still has a few things defensively to work on before that fight.
While we certainly must not forget Alex, who is still a dangerous floater in the division, there are questions over whether she has the championship pedigree, with younger fighters starting to come through.
Personally I think she could still become a champion if she really puts her mind to it, time isn't really on her side so she will need to push on for that shot sooner then later.

Part 2: Lily Allen vs Vanessa White These two women have been on a hell of a run this year, Lily was part of the Contender 6 tournament earlier this year, while she didn't win it, she gave a hell of an account of herself and wasn't far off the top spot.
While Vanessa started to come out the shadows of her stablemate Mollie King by defeating Hannah Spearitt on Sport Reliefs charity celebrity boxing card, then returned to the BBU where she has had a good run, including beating Cher Lloyd on the last PPV.
The fact this was held in London, where both women are from added spice to proceedings, with insults flying in the build up, it was clear how much a win here truly meant to the fighters.
The early action was pretty even in terms of Vanessa taking round 1 with a strong showing of speed and technique, Lily showed her power in round 2 as she claimed it.
Round 3 was a back and forth affair, Lily looked so much better when she could get inside and use her power, when she was forced to chase, that is when she had issues as Vanessa looked to have the better defence.
Afterwards; Lily got her nose busted open by a two stiff straight punches, which then became a big target for Vanessa, who kept striking it and actually seemed to grow in confidence from it.
But she lost some focus, enough for Lily to surprise her with an uppercut that put her down in round 5, then after she got up and got to the next round, Lily opened a gruesome cut above the eyebrow of Vanessa that saw the beginning of her demise, Lily pounding her with hooks till her legs gave out and she gave up.
Judging by the comments after the fight; Vanessa wants a crack at Lily again, I have to give her credit for wanting to get in the ring with Lily again as I can see that being a bloody affair if it does take place, no word yet I have to point out on that one.
But Vanessa will need to learn to keep her concentration next time, if she can keep it a pure boxing match and not a street fight style, she probably would have won.
Problem is that Lily is one of the hardest strikers in the division, something she will be hoping leads her to dethroning whoever the flyweight champion is after the next PPV, she certainly has the tools to claim the gold in future.

Part 3: Sarah Brandner vs Danielle Miller Long term viewers of the Real View will know I don't have a high view of the Black Eagle Boxing stable, it's not the fighters to be clear, as there as some very talented women I believe, it is simply the owner and "coach" Gina Wild who I don't rate at all.
Normally it is done to horrendous match making and tactics that get me riled up with Mrs Wild, however I would be a hypocrite if I didn't say this fight on paper looked perfect for Sarah to get rounds under her belt and not be in any real danger as she grows as a fighter.
Danielle has shown to be durable; just not much of a going forwards though, so I can't say that Gina made a mistake here.
The early action though it has to be said was very even, while Sarah looked to bully Danielle around, the Page 3 fighter wasn't going to go easily it seemed, matching up with Sarah well when they traded.
As the fight continued; the hometown crowd of Sarah felt uneasy, Danielle looked to be actually taking control of the action, keeping her defence up tight as expected and countering perfectly well, if she had one punch knockout power, it could have been over early for Danielle to win.
After the half way mark of the fight; Sarah started to make her punches count more, catching Danielle to her face with jabs and straight punches.
But Sarah didn't really push on; leading to Danielle getting back into the groove in the later rounds, even as Sarah did finally show urgency in the final two rounds, Danielle just kept catching her with the much cleaner shots.
As the final bell went, that was a shock in itself that it went the distance, then shock turned to disgust as Sarah won on a split decision, even her fans looked embarrassed that I am sure Gina Wild has been getting advice off Oscar De La Hoya on how to win fights.
Danielle I know is fuming from when I spoke to her in private afterwards, she wants a rematch and I'd second that myself, but with Sarah wanting to fight her national rival Toni Garrn, that option doesn't look like it will happen sadly.
While I hope Sarah watches the tape of the fight and is embarrassed herself, she was too lazy on taking an opponent that yes she should beat, but she clearly didn't, so hopefully Gina hasn't ruined another fighter.
I'd like to think the BBU committee would strip this result from the records for dodgy judging but they most likely have bigger things to worry about, so just know that while the history books will say Sarah Brandner defeated Danielle Miller, the real winner was Danielle.

Final part: Jordan Carver vs Billie Faiers These two women certainly fit the JMD division like a glove with their builds, but neither has set the world alight in their careers so far, with Jordan having a negative record and Billie looking for a first win in this contest.
The fight saw Jordan take the opening round with ease, pounding Billie to her head and jugs, with the Essex lass not seeming to be able to do much but soak up punishment.
Things seemed to find a pattern; Billie would come out great in the first part of a round, before one mistake would lead her to getting pounded with vicious shots.
Round 3 saw Billie get put down to her knees as she got caught to the body, she did beat the count but she had the look of someone that wasn't going to put up much of a fight afterwards.
Which was proven as round 4 saw the end for her as an uppercut ripped up through her jugs and on to her chin, it was certainly a sight I'll never forget soon as Billie was put on her back and that was game over.
Jordan looked great this fight, but it has to be said that the level of competition was very weak, Billie has no real defence to speak of, so it will be interesting to see when she steps back up in class if she will finally show the class she is rumoured to have from her Promiboxen days.
While Billie has to be given some credit for her toughness, she ate some bombs through the fight that would have knocked out worse fighters, I don't see her pushing on though to anything, maybe beating another jobber is what she can do.
That's all the time we have for this week, I hope today's posts were fun and thank you to everyone who took the time to read them, remember we will be back next Wednesday with more BBU news.

I respect Tom's opinion normally but he is misinformed here, I mean Alex Gerrard is an old hasbeen that is just waiting to be retired, even then I saw that she should have took you out at any point in that fight. The simple fact is this; I am hotter then you, younger then you, fitter and hell let's just say it, I am better then you in every way bytch! Now I think it isn't long before we finally can settle this, but I have one more fight ahead before that happens, so I suggest you get in that gym and workout there, instead of on your back in any alleyway you can find hmm.... #simply better then Vogue
