Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; this has certainly been an interesting week, starting with a barn boxing bout, then a card featuring a taste of the crossover action you can expect off the next PPV, finished off by a stunning Bastille day bout.
We will be starting this weeks episode by looking at the fight between the BBU lightweight champion and the FCBA lightweight champion, Alessandra Ambrosio and Yvonne Strahovski simply do not like each other being in their world, we discuss the fight.
Then we move to France; Elodie Yung and Marion Cotillard were battling for national pride and maybe a shot at the French bantamweight title itself.
Third up we talk about the big hitting contest from the big girls; Khloe Kardashian and Elizabeth Debicki both wanted to really go for each other.
Finally it is all about the barn boxing fight between rivals Fiona Wade and Roxanne Pallett, both had won their barn boxing bouts in the past, leading some to call the fight the unofficial barn boxing championship bout, who came out on top?
In other quick news; the BBU PPV shall be announced soon, I have seen the card as it stands and there are some interesting fights to say the least, so keep an eye out for that.

Part 1: Alessandra Ambrosio vs Yvonne Strahovski OK first I want to say that if you haven't read this fight or the other fights we are talking about this week, go back and look them up, some big fights I'd hate to spoil for you guys.
So hopefully now the ones reading these posts are the ones left reading this because this was one of the biggest fights in BBU history, the FCBA lightweight champion versus the BBU lightweight champion, Yvonne Strahovski vs Alessandra Ambrosio!
What made this even more interesting was the bad blood between the women, they had fought over a month ago, Yvonne won that clash by knockout, Alessandra wanted another crack at her championship counterpart.
This time the fight was fought under "ironwoman" rules, the only way to win was to knockout your opponent, unlimited rounds with no judges decisions for either to worry about.
It led to a classic fight, both women went back and forth as you expect; Yvonne looking the better with her technical skills against the raw power of Alessandra.
Knockdowns were the order of the day, with a pair traded early on in the fight as they wanted to end the fight early, it did settle down through the middle rounds with both women trading stiff shots throughout.
The late part of the fight saw another pair of knockdown's being traded, the second knockdown turned out to be the finish of the fight, Yvonne was knocked clean out on the canvas and Alessandra has now evened the score between these two bitter rivals.
These two also don't seem able to have a bad fight; as you'd expect from two of the best in celebrity boxing, I honestly put this in fight of the year contendership hunt, that's quite a field if you have been following the BBU this year.
On Alessandra; well it might be next month we see her next defend the title, early rumours are it will either be Laetitia Casta or Dua Lipa.
While it probably won't be for another year till we see Yvonne back in the BBU, I hope we do see her again as she is truly one of the pound for pound best in the world.

Part 2: Elodie Yung vs Marion Cotillard I could talk about France in the World cup, but I don't want to be called a jinx from their fans if they lose the final, so I'll focus on two stunning beauties from that country fighting on Bastille Day.
Let's go over the girls, first up is Elodie Yung, the Daredevil star has been mighty impressive since her debut several months ago, unbeaten in all her fights, the fact she is a black belt in karate might be why she has taken to the sport of boxing like a duck on water.
While Marion is famous for a host of Hollywood films, though in the ring she has been far from spectacular, only 3 wins in her career to not so great competition.
So the favourite was a no brainer; with Elodie coming out the gates quickly with her punches finding the face of Marion too easily for the Hollywood stars fans liking.
Marion did make a mini comeback as she started throwing more wild punches to try and catch out her opponent, some landing to make Elodie think about her own attacks.
But normal service resumed quite quickly; Marion was too slow to deal with the aggression of Elodie and frankly her defence was really nonexistent.
An uppercut in round 4 put Marion onto her back, with the nicest thing that can be said about her being that she got up to beat the count and gamely fought on till the 5th, where she was knocked clean out for the French crowd to see.
I can't fault Marion for taking the fight, I mean it is like saying Canelo Alvarez isn't going to fight on a Mexican holiday; that's crazy to think, but she was way overmatched here.
Elodie meanwhile has some great skills, being in her late 30's though hurts her prospects badly, she might fall into Melanie Chisholm (Mel C) territory, unbeaten but getting rare fights and never getting a title shot.
I hope I am wrong as Elodie looks to have the skills certainly down to a tee, the question that still needs to be answered is can she handle being put under fire, up to now she hasn't been tested and with names like Clara Morgane being put forwards, if that fight does happen, then she will certainly be tested.
At the best I can expect she will fight Elodie Frege, the current BBU French bantamweight champion, that is certainly a winnable fight in my eyes for the gold belt, so many options for Yung going forwards, I can't wait to see where she goes.

Part 3: Elizabeth Debicki vs Khloe Kardashian The crossover month can certainly bring some interesting match ups, Elizabeth Debicki and Khloe Kardashian certainly don't run in the same social circles, they still seemed to take an instant dislike to each other.
Neither has lite the world up in the ring yet, though both have had some big wins in their young careers, so it was interesting to follow how these two would do against each other.
Well Elizabeth is the tallest fighter in the BBU at 6'2, so as you'd expect she used that height to control the early part of the fight.
But Khloe would use her raw strength to get inside and work that tall frame of Elizabeth, keeping Elizabeth on the ropes through the middle part.
Back and forth went these two big women as it was a real clash of the titans, Khloe got the crowd on their feet when she put her opponent down in round 6.
But she couldn't finish the job; that led to Elizabeth recovering and after landing a vicious uppercut, she finished the job with a barrage of punches that put Khloe's lights out.
It has to be said in Elizabeth's favour after this fight, it was on a big card and this was a fight suiting that card, winning this must get her into the title hunt, though she may need at least another fight to get into definite title shot territory.
On Khloe, I'd love to see her back in the BBU after this performance, but she might stay purely in the FCBA with her based in America of course, can always dream, especially for a rematch between these two someday.

Final part: Barn Boxing, Roxanne Pallett vs Fiona Wade Since the inception of barn boxing fights, I know they have had fans and people who haven't exactly looked too keenly on them, personally I think they are something unique for two rivals like these two women.
Fiona won the last barn boxing match that took place against Adele Silva last year, ever since then she has been calling out Roxanne for an unofficial barn boxing title fight, being as Roxanne won the first ever barn boxing bout against Sammy Winward.
The fight was finally made and on Monday they stepped into the barn to fight, with the knowledge one woman was going into a pig pen full of mud if she lost.
Fiona seemed to catch Roxanne out early with her aggression, the older fighter kept Roxanne aimed at the ropes and really looked to enjoy getting to the inside to work on the body of her opponent.
But Roxanne would find her rhythm soon enough, using her jab more and using her flexibility to dodge the punches coming at her, countering with several vicious shots of her own.
As the fight wore on; Roxanne was clearly getting the better of the exchanges, her power allowed her to bust open the nose of Fiona and really open up her rival.
Fiona in round 5 would get caught with two uppercuts that knocked her out! Roxanne having to wait for Fiona to be woken up, before she finally got to dunk Fiona into the pig pen.
This was an impressive win for Roxanne, while she now mostly boxes in America in the FCBA, she still comes here for a few fights, maybe she is in the hunt for the BBU flyweight title?
Fiona on the other hand I don't see being a top fighter, she is certainly far from jobber class but is mostly going to be a tough test for opponent's in future.
So that is all we have time for guys; I hope you enjoyed the show and as always thank you for taking the time to read these posts, we'll be back next Sunday at the usual time.
