Ms Ayako Hamada is proud to announce the expansion signing of Miss Sayumi Michishige - former Morning Musume J-pop girls band leader - who joins the Front Street Japan flyweight rankings with immediate effect.
Long-time FSJ member Rika Ishikawa was once member of the very same Morning Musume band so we reckon both girls will be happy to join forces again, this time in the boxing ring!
Sayumi Michishige was born on July 13th, 1989 in Ube. She's 5'3" (160 cm) tall and weighs-in at 103 lbs (47 kg).
We are also happy to confirm that former Kear's Kats and Girls Friday member and current free agent Katherine Jenkins has agreed to fight Sayumi on her debut in Tokyo Dome City Hall next month on the undercard of the Sayuki Matsumoto - Jennifer Hawkins unofficial lightweight title eliminator.
Pending on Sayumi's success, Front Street Japan is on course to pursue further expansion signings to it's roster!
